I too had many Triumphs . Their alloy cases etc. was a nice soft alloy and a few hours with the solvol autosol worked wonders. Many happy memories !

Stunningly beautiful. You do such a wonderful job of restoration. Did you polish those side cases yourself? Everything on that bike is just so nice right down to the nuts and bolts not to mention the hubs, wheels, spokes, paint, chain guard, wiring, seat, chrome, gauges, frame, motor, carbs, etc, etc, etc........ Just BEAUTIFUL.

A superb restoration, I grew up loving Triumphs, but always felt they`d missed a chance in 63, to catch up with developements, but an extra cylinder head bolt and a duplex primary chain was all we got to go with the "unit construction", they were just too complacent. 5 years and their same old same old goose was cooked.

This bike is perfect .. I love stock bikes .. no modifications .. like this one .. I loved that two toned seat back then .. and now (with strap). I am also a fan of weathered and real unrestored bikes and regularly ridden .. as long as they remain as true to stock/original as possible. I would like to be on your list should you do a new will !!! I would treasure this bike as it should be you can be assured. Sincerely, Peter G. (your ID/name is very English so is my heritage)

Pleased you like the bike and the kind comments, all carried out by myself, hours of pain, but worth the result.

Let's see if this piece of shit program will let me finish! This was the most responsive bike I have had the pleasure of owning. That said I have had better road bikes but of later vintage. This bike gave me the most pleasure of climbing in the saddle of any that I have ever owned. In "64" the front end was too weak it bottomed out in hard corners. The "63" gave me the most pleasure and the most exciting (frightful) experiences I have had in my life time and I am 81 years old, and I still remember this bike.

it`s not fish n chips, it has to be built first, which takes time.
Sunday`s papers are produced on Saturday.

It says 1963, the year Triumph changed to unit construction, gearbox and engine as one unit.
