I can’t be argue with your listing. Keep up the great work guys. I am planning on heading to Kauai and Oahu in early November. It’s been a while since I’ve been there-18 months. Keep giving the reminder of “ if in doubt don’t go out”. It’s an important one.
Love Turtle Bay , almost drown the first time i was there, dit not see the warning posts swimming until here unter water snokeling. Did not now it was no lifeguard there.. :( now i know better.. please be safe !! love the Hawaii vacation guide. Wish i knew you before. Much Love from Germany !
Our favorite place to snokel on Oahu is to the right of Shark's Cove. You can walk along the road just a little way and then down a hill and through some trees to the water. It's a clear path that many people use. Really nice fish, turtles, and deeper but not too deep water that is clear when the water is calm in the summer. Thanks for the videos!
Aloha Jordan and Erica! I will snorkel this week for some B Rolls so your video is very helpful. Gonna check out Three Tables and Turtle Bay. I appreciate you giving safety tips also and talking about not stepping on the coral and staying at least 10 feet away from the turtles. Always fun and informative videos that put safety first. Mahalo🤙
Great safety tips and suggestions! Keep up the awesome work. Love your videos; keep them coming! I took my family to Oahu in July of '21, and we ended up doing a catamaran tour out of Ko Olina. I agree; it was great snorkeling...lots of fish and we got to see a big sea turtle come out from a lava tube! Really cool!
Thank you! I never downloaded them into a device. I guess bad idea. But they’re reasonably priced and you update the info so it won’t be a big deal if I need to buy a new one. I was just curious.
Would you say snorkeling is worthwhile for someone that doesn’t know how to swim very well? The plan would be to use a floatation device at all times and only be in somewhat shallow water. Are there any good spots where something like this is feasible?
That is hard to say. Snorkeling tours request good swimmers for safety. While they have crew in the water for safety, they aren't professional lifeguards. Perhaps call one, like this one from Ko Olina. They have a good crew. thehawaiivacationguide.com/activities/catamaran-sail-snorkel-oahu-hawaii/
Just Subbed , from Canada 🇨🇦 . Looking to take the family August 11th to 16th ( can be flexible) we have boys 14 and 8 yr olds. Any recommendations for hotel stay, places to visit/ eat. Thanks .P.S This would be our 1st trip ever to Hawai ❤
Thanks for subscribing! Book that trip now as August is busy. We share places to stay here: thehawaiivacationguide.com/stay/ Stay in Waikiki as it has a lot to do and easy to get around the island. Ko Olina is good for kids too but a big resort area. See our website for more info!
It's called Sharks Cove because from above the formation looks like a shark shape..at least that's what I read on the internet. Thank you for posting this. I had been wondering how the snorkeling is at the Ko'Olina Lagoons because I'd like to go there. I prefer almost no wave action but still want to see some fish. Do you have a preference as to which lagoon to snorkel?
Thanks for watching and doing that research. See our Ko Olina Guide for more details on snorkeling and the lagoons. They are all the same in design but Lagoon 2 and 3 are less crowded. thehawaiivacationguide.com/ko-olina-guide/

Hey Sean! I hope the visibility was good for your snorkeling! Thanks for watching! I will be looking for that b-roll footage in your videos.

That’s awesome! It is a great snorkel tour from that side of the island. Thanks for still watching our channel!
It’s called sharks cove bc they say the rocks resemble a shark 🦈 I’m not really sure where but that’s what I investigated HAHAHA
I haven't seen in your videos do you take your kids snorkeling? I'm wondering about how to snorkel when you have a 3 year old.

Good health to you too! I’m glad you enjoyed the safety tips. Thanks for watching!
Hi! So I have bought multiple guides before but I forgot this piece of info: how long are we able to access the guide for?
Thanks for grabbing itineraries! You have access to update versions for 11 months after purchase. You can keep your download of course. That is yours.

I should clarify I was hoping to do a snorkeling tour.

Can you show us how the Hawaii houses look like and experience for 1 day on that house?
No way there are five places to snorkel in Oahu.
