not sure how i feel about sending johnny walker.. instead of opportunity to have a tryout to make a country represented team.. great players could be stuck on bad teams by circumstances and never get the chance to represent their country... also note young kids.. theres no excessive spiking the disc after the score..
Overall, announcers did a good job covering this game, but at about the 1:20:00 mark, Theo Wan really contradicts himself by first recognizing that there has been a Gold Medal match at Worlds for the Grand Masters Division in the past for Club teams, but then says this is the first time it's a Gold Medal Match (for National Teams). I understand the point he's trying to make but he missed the opportunity to acknowledge the Gold in GM Worlds division that Johnny Walker won in 2018 in Winnipeg (not my favorite memory, having been on the losing end of that one), and the Gold in GM division at Worlds 2022 in Limerick (Surly won that one). It's not exactly a new thing for WFDF, it's just that Covid interrupted the natural progression to National Teams. A minor point I suppose, announcers were outstanding in all other respects.
1:09:40 brings back 2011 GOAT memories.
Hassle to Nylen to octolonie.
10:28 First Pull

44:38 after a left hand pivot gain separation with a right hand pivot and huck 🤔
