I'll be honest. Just watched this 20+ min video without skipping or scrubbing after, this is happening after almost so many years. In fact scrolled back to rewatch certain parts. Great video Natassha ! Everything in today's job market is how marketable you are rather than what tech stack or skillsets you have. You covered that portion brilliantly and the suggestions were amazing. Thank You ! Looking forward to more content like this.
I just want to say it's a life changer video. I am a statistics student with a wealth of knowledge, yet I have never considered how to apply it. However, after watching this video, I feel that it may mark the beginning of a journey toward a promising direction in my life. Truly thankful to Natassha.
Thank you for this video. I appreciate you sharing your experience. I am working on a BS I’m software engineering, and thinking about these topics every day! 🎉
hah thanks for sharing my project! It was a little passion project for on of my undergraduate courses! Helped me get into my masters degree... and now PhD
Fabulous content! Thank you so much for such a clear, concise, and relevant video! You have given me the guidance I have been needing to move forward in my new career endeavors! I'm very excited to get moving on this and seeing tangible, real-life results. Thank you Natassha.
Thank you for this video. I didn't know a lot of things about problem statements and creating datasets and publishing them online by writing why I picked it. I can now do my job better thanks to you. Newly subbed and can't wait to learn more from your videos
The insights I get from your videos are mind blowing. Thank you very much you are the most honest person on YT I ever come by the share true and real experience. Keep it up you will rock on this platform. Also, I will appreciate making a video about the website portfolio. Thank youuuuuuu
Very Insightful. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I will definitely follow your guidelines, please make a video on building portfolio(scratch to end).
Great video!! You really touched on some things I need to do to make myself stand out. I was going to do a Kaggle project, but not anymore. This was very helpful.
Hi Natassha, I'm, a budding data analyst with a background in civil engineering. Originally from Tamil Nadu, India, I now live in Canada. I've recently started learning SQL, Python, PowerBI, and Tableau on my own and have completed some projects in data analysis. I've watched all your videos and am seeking your guidance. Can you help me?
I have the same concern as you( I've recently started learning SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau ) Please can you share your experiences with me? And also share any response from Natassha if any. Please.🙏
Hi Natassha. Thank you so much for the most informative content delivered clearly. Can you please make the video on creating a portfolio website? It would be useful if u pls share the life of a data analyst where you can share the process data analysts go through day to day..
Natassha... I found your video very clear, concise and helpful. I am very experienced Data Management/BI professional. In my beginner days, portfolio concept wasn't there and wasn't expected by employers. Now I feel it's needed if I am entering a new area within the data management sphere, like transitioning to modern data stack/cloud data engineering from the tradition DW/BI stack. I've been trying to enter the Azure Data Engineering area. I've been looking for a good topic/data set to do portfolio projects in Python/Spark (PySpark) and/or Azure Data Factory or Data Bricks or Synapse. Do you have any suggestions for interesting data sets for a PySpark project? Is Spotify data set too common?
Natassha, another excellent video. I have an idea for a project but it requires scraping data from a website that features professional athletes and their stats. Is there ethical or legal issues I should be aware of and how would I know? Your videos are pure gold!

One question I would have is where to publish blog posts communicating a project. Natassha has done quite a few on Medium (very well known platform) so it would seem a good choice except that I noticed that sometime in the last couple of years or so they started putting articles behind a paywall that used to be freely available (or available if you had read fewer than some allotted monthly allotment of free articles). This is a problem because it limits readership. Toward Data Science is another that has been used (example shown in this video) the fact that it is less known than Medium is likely compensated by the fact that it specializes in data science. However, Toward Data Science appears to be a branding for Medium and also has the same issue as Medium of putting things behind a paywall. Any ideas?
Towards Data Science is a Medium publication, they'll increase your readership by promoting your article. You also have the option to not put your article behind a paywall, although this means you don't get paid as a creator. I personally don't like their recent changes with the paywall since it essentially forces writers to choose between reach vs getting paid for your work. However, I still put all my articles behind the paywall and have noticed only a very slight drop in readership. You can do the same.
Very interested. I am AMB JEREMIAH THEO FARR from Liberia.I want to be an Data Analyst or Data Scientist.Kindly help me out in said direction. I am mainly interested in AI.
Hi , I want to become a Data Analyst but I don’t know how to start and from where? Will you please suggest me or guide me. I am from NON IT FIELD. There are tons of institute so I am very confused about. I am very thankful to you if you guide me step by step learning path.Thank you.
I don't recommend Upwork and Fiverr if you're a beginner, it's too competitive. If you want a freelance role, you can watch my videos on becoming a freelance data analyst that goes into detail about this.

You can do Kaggle projects for self-learning, just don't put then on your resume :)
@@natassha_ds Sorry if I missed this one. Why are kaggle projects not preferable for resumes?

hey natassha, do you know i refer to you as my girl?
Natassha, any hiring manager know that if he has a girl like you on his team 10 nerds will show up to work for free.
That's not true. Even with blogs, you get rejected. You need to be an expert in the field
She said for interships for beginners. Just to step in your feet on the industry.
This is student-oriented not someone who graduated and is competing with others who’ve in da industry for a while
True bro this is for starting
I love you
