Wringer Washer 12 Volt DIY 1 of 3

  • I used an old water pump for the 12 Volt motor that is hooked up to the wringer washer. Using super strut I created a little floor and then mounted the pump to it. I bought some pulleys from the local Ace Hardware store and fan belt and simply drilled some holes and did an ‘as you go’ kind of fix. All is well and it’s hooked up to my 12 V batteries with an inverter - actually it doesn’t need the inverter it just needs 12 V. I originally tried a cigarette lighter output for the 12 V but usually they are at 10 A and it has more amps than that so it really didn’t work well.

    This is very cool. I'm a little mad at myself. I need to learn engines but I haven't made it a priority.
