Asef Rahman Dipto I wear them it’s just Brigand Crossbowmen have this perk called Crossbow mastery which adds a 20% armor pearsing to the base 50 adding up to 70% going through armor while hitting the head multiplies the damage you I don’t remember how much but at least 2. So I always get steal brow so my guys don’t die despite wearing kettlehelms with chainmail.
Have used these among others when playing a 2 player, 1st ed mashup with AD&D (conned 1.5) in a Battle Brothers style campaign called The Caravan of Courage. These tracks go well when you play iron man AD&D.
ELMITLON rly I don't think there that much of a big deal if you have good armor and skills for the archers I just use bows and heavily armoured front lines to block the ranged for my archers pretty effective. Also my archers wear full chainmail and they take little damage from arrows and bolts.
My best soldier, armored from head to toe with the finest metalwork got one shotted by a pebble thrown by a starving bandit, but damn does this theme go hard
If you hear it propaply, it sounds like that European AND Asian battlesong are mixet together in this song. Anyway, i like it when im rolling with my heavy Axemens with swordsmens bashing there armours or choping there heads right away ^^

if you don't have good archer always attack in the night and stick to the high ground
