Nice video guys. I’m curious what kind of boat you guys are fishing out of. Is it a flats boat? It looks like a nice lake boat setup for fly fishing, I’m looking for options for a musky boat for fly fishing lakes and that looks nice. Does it handle big waves/big lakes well?
Yeah, this one is a big-water boat flats/inshore sorta boat for sure. The lakes down there get hella windy and we've had some big wave days where a small boat would be toast.
Yes you can do that in the States, I guess its more of the adventure than the actual catching of fish (some guys had 40-50 fish days) not too shabby, fished on the side of a volcano, hiked and fished some relatively untouched spring creeks, met some awesome people, ate some amazing food, wet waded every day in February and got to visit a country I have never been to. But ya, other than that its pretty much the same.
I completely understand the trip. Different scenery, GREAT food and meeting (new) friends. However fishing from a drift boat, catching 12-14 inch fish is hardly 'doing Patagonina'. Why not take a hike to the mountain stream with a light short rod and catch some indigenous trouts?
Italian Music and a Organic Boat ramp ..gotta luv it !!!
That's Argentinian Tango music. Definitely some Italian influence from the emigrés! :-)
@@nicolelewis1828 Gotta a few relatives in Argentina from Italy . they love the place
@@italiantroutaholic8926 I was in Italy last Spring: Rome, Amalfi, Capri, Tuscany, Florence, Cinque-Terre, Torino and Venezia! Loved it all!
Steve’s the man, catching fish and swimming all in one!
River snakes wow the colors...so unique to that blue water. I'm a bbq guy and Argentinian cuisine was a nice touch in the vid!!

Podcast studio is re-vamped and ready for a new broadcast Weds night 3/11. Thanks!
It's nice to see Cheech finally catching some fish...instead of rowing that damn boat.
Looks like a really great trip.

Catch a bunch of 12-14 inch rainbows from a drift boat. You can do that anywhere in the States
Yes, very true. We shouldn't have gone. What were we thinking???.....
