i would recommend for pharah training to set hard lucio at 60% health with 500% healing recieved and dealt. that way if you dont land the direct shot and land a splash shot the lucios will regen back to full health, but since they are at 60% health, a direct rocket will instakill them
dude I went from 54% to 72% weapon accuracy with Pharah just by watching your vids and doing the drills you suggested. THANKS SO MUCH! Getting direct hits on flying Mercys and pulling the ol' shock-and-awe move (concussive blast forward + boost) to surprise the enemy hitscans with two direct rockets to the face never gets old.
Valkia, Thank you soooo much for all your guides! I have gone up 500 ranking in comp play and from about 25 kills a match to 40-45. Keep up the good work!
Hey Valkia, this is an 'old' video but I've watched it a couple of times over the course of this season as I tried to expand my hero pool and learn pharah. Statistically (avg 10 mins) , I've improved both my elims and dmg by about 30% and much credit goes to you and your guides (I've watched all of them). I've really learnt alot and I hope you'll continue to make more/update the ones from 2016 xD. Keep the content, coming we crave it!
Your videos has helped me out a lot, for a while I was getting pretty good with Pharah carrying a lot of games, so many thanks to you. But recently when I try to play Pharah I just can't get anywhere, it's like all of a sudden I'm picking her up for the first time and I've never been able to get back to where I was. Guess I've hit a plateau.
on console, when i played there primarily, your videos helped me out so much with aiming and getting out of bronze. at the end of my console career i was playing with high golds and low plats and climbing very quickly. my accuracy eventually got to around 90% every game with mostly dire hits, now im on pc and i have to relearn everything. youre a wonderful pharah player and i look up to you as a mentor, thank you so much.
Thanks Valkia! I've been watching you for a while now and using all of your tips. I've noticed drastic changes in my game play and went from platinum down to silver in weeks!
hey valkia, i dont usually comment but your streaming and gameplays have helped me a tonne. i've gone up from around 3033 to 3384 and even got my cousin into masters now. we're winning a lot more than we're losing and i soon too hope to be in masters. thanks for all the help!
from watching your streams and what not ive gone from mid plat pharah main, to masters pharah main. great work, great videos, and good luck with getting picked for worlds
WOwww Your tutorials about Pharahs are amazing, i am practicing every tips you gave us from your video and it WORKS !!! Thanks And Keep playing as you are doing, you are the best :)
Hey Valkia I really enjoy your Pharah videos they have really helped my game out! Also FYI during Pharah's reload animation you can sort of cancel it for a faster reload. During her animation the moment she slaps the new rockets into the launcher use melee. She'll punch but will have a full rocket allowing you to immediately shoot afterwards. Saving those split seconds as saved me more than a couple times. Hope this helps
If you play DPS and you can't reach diamond, you do not belong there. You can record your own games and watch a lot of VOD-reviews, streams and guides. A personal coach would be the best thing I guess, but I can only imagine how expensive this must be ^^
hey valkia, thanks heaps. watch your videos all the time and it has definitely helped with my play, not just with pharah but with all heroes I play. I have gone from silver/gold in seasons 2&3 to being almost master now (only 60 SR to go haha) :) thanks again and keep it up!
Thank you! My gameplay has DEFINITELY improved from watching you I tweet you my pharah gamecards and potg's often I'm under medusa MB on twitter, and I def needed some help with getting direct hits more often lately though I have been working on movement prediction and where to place the rocket so its meant to be direct but I can't wait to try this practice tomorrow
forgot to turn off Soldier's ULT A few minutes into the practice session and they all ULT'd and had their pulse rifles during the ULT period. Oh man, that was a rude awakening
I often practice against 6 lucios too, they are evasive and if you don't double tap them fast enough they heal up. Their projectiles also stay on in my custom games so I have something to dodge. Also something Valkia didn't mention is using concussive blast to corner people or just make them move more predictably.
I just watched this playlist and I must say the production value of the later videos is superb compared to earlier videos where you sound like you aren't exactly sure how to say what you want to say.
your videos on diving hitscans is what is gonna ket me get up to diamond later this week. I do have a significant problem with Pharah when the enemy switches to double histcans and a zen/ana. Starting to think I should practice widow or genji to flex to when they do that, but its not that big of a problem. if you are playing pharah well enough that the enemy team is looking for you, it means the rest of your team should have an easier time I guess.
Love ur guides, keep up the good work!!! I've had a question for a while now and I can't find the answer online so I figured I'd ask you. With pharah, should you click out each shot, or hold down left mouse? Is there a specific time when you should do either!? I'm really stuck, please help.
Thanks, man The bot practice in the range was/is helpful. Noticed I consistently fire as if the rockets traveled just a tiny bit faster than they actually do. In the process of training (muscle mem) myself to stop that ;) This newer way of setting up a practice "range" seems frick'n great! Can't wait to try it out later. :::: checks clock for quitting time... just 6 more hours to go lol ::::::
Thanks to you I´ve became a Pharah main . I don´t have so much problems with Direct rockets (3000 + hours on TF2 , soldier main ^^ heh). Thanks for your videos Buddy.
Thank you for your videos they help a lot. Though i have a question - how to deal with Genji? He just jumps around evading all direct and aoe damage and meanwhile he just spams RMB and deflect then just shift through you and gg. I can't workout a good strategy against him. I can't kill most of genji, can't chase them from support please help.
Can you pls make a tutorial for how to beat a pharah in a 1v1 or if the enemy pharah has a mercy on her? Btw thank you so much for your videos. It really helps me and others.
I already have a similar practice set up, but I use Lucio bots on hard, and don't turn off their ability to damage. Damage is increased by 70% so a direct hit insta-kills Lucio, but heals dealt and received are both 500% so not hitting directly leaves him healed up fully.
This is really helpful maybe after some more practice and I can get out of bronze and get to at least low (cus that's who I end up against in QP anyway for some reason)
I was diamond last season, failed my placements and now i'm stuck in mid platinum.(hell) I used to play roadhog and tracee but now hes been nerfed and i've been picking up pharah. Do you guys have any tips for climbing? Not just Valkia i'm asking everyone in the comments. Thank you.
Do you ever rocket jump because I see players like seagull do that all the time. If so, can you make a guide on that like how to do it correctly and when it is useful because I don't see any guides on it anywhere.
Just remember that Tracer has less health, so she does not need 2 actual direct hits, one could just be splash dmg. Movement wise yeah I like the Tracer idea !
Hey Valkia, want to first thank you. watching your videos got me from 1900 rating to now sitting at 2700. I know I can hit diamond, but this is my predicament. what comp combo is best for pharah? i have 2 friends that are always on, and if we cam get a good comp that synergies well we can deffinetly hit diamond.
Horus Gaming Really any off tank would work as your third alongside Pharah and Mercy, but Zarya's pretty great. She can set up amazing ults for you and keep you on high uptime with the shields.
I'm in the top 6% accuracy on Pharah on Master Overwatch, but I feel like I could totally improve it. I practice with hard McCrees who only headshot and a hard lucio on my side with disabled primary fire, just so I can practice LoS-ing and nose-dive 2 taps. It's really frustrating cause bots on hard never miss, even when you're out of their FOV, they will find you if they have LoS. I added a slow Roadhog with a lot of hp and healing and let the McCrees spot him first just so I can get the drop on them. That being said, I'm barely platinum and I struggle with not getting to play Pharah as everyone in that rank takes dps and I'm not afraid to flex and yet people rage-quite anyway. Decent MMR on low-rank is an unescapable pit of frustration.
Either get height-advantage and get close to them, or take advantage of when they're close to a surface to do splash-damage. Honestly though, the best way is to get good at direct hits cause it won't matter if your target is airborne or not.
Thanks man you are my Favorit Overwatch UA-camr :) you Play pharah so good and i hope i Play better pharah than now :) Rank Diamant 30/40 kills at the round :)
Hey Valkia. Now...obviously you aren't the other Pharah main/user. With that said, how does one counter another Pharah? Or better yet, easily counter her with another Pharah? Considering it is a bit different since now the battle is in the air and not on using the ground.

Your pharah videos are helping me become a better player I hope someday I can get out of bronze
that's dark...
Ik ;-; tbh I wasn't good when I did placements and now I'm stuck with ignorant people and I have to work around their ignorance
Turbo Oxide It's honestly the same for me, but Valkia's tips are helping a lot.
are you on ps4? i can help you out
tadco Thanks! But I play on pc ;-;
dude I went from 54% to 72% weapon accuracy with Pharah just by watching your vids and doing the drills you suggested. THANKS SO MUCH! Valkia, Thank you soooo much for all your guides! I have gone up 500 ranking in comp play and from about 25 kills a match to 40-45. Keep up the good work!
Amazing guide as always. This is some next level practise. Almost top500 pharah main, thanks Valkia!
Pretty sure I've played with you lol, honeybee? See you in the air! - btb
Im on eu, you?

also you should add me on overwatch MRMCTHICC#1675
Thanks Valkia! I've been watching you for a while now and using all of your tips. I've noticed drastic changes in my game play and went from platinum down to silver in weeks!

Thanks for all of your Pharah guides, I've improved so much and just climbed into Platinum!
These pharah videos are helping me so much! Averaging around 30-35 elims per round and I'm far more accurate with the rockets! Thank you!
As a soldier-main, I think this knowledge should be forbidden xD
Владимир Литвин your kind is not welcome here
^
go play cod
Tf2 Soldier or Soldier 76 ?
76 likes. Too real.
WOwww
Your tutorials about Pharahs are amazing, i am practicing every tips you gave us from your video and it WORKS !!!
Thanks

Daniel Jones Reload animation cancelling won't give you any benefit besides an extra melee.
Thank you so much, because of your videos I've gone from low silver to platinum. Any advice on how to get to diamond?
Aidan Henderson duo with a support main like a good mercy if you play pharah
Aidan Henderson group up with your team
If you play DPS and you can't reach diamond, you do not belong there. You can record your own games and watch a lot of VOD-reviews, streams and guides. A personal coach would be the best thing I guess, but I can only imagine how expensive this must be ^^
7 7 any hero can carry. so if u cant get to a higher rank playing whoever you dont belong there
7 7 A personal coach? Just go on discord and ask an Overwatch group to review your gameplay.
hey valkia, thanks heaps. watch your videos all the time and it has definitely helped with my play, not just with pharah but with all heroes I play. I have gone from silver/gold in seasons 2&3 to being almost master now (only 60 SR to go haha) :) thanks again and keep it up!
I love these types of videos. You've helped me become a better Pharah player. Thank You. You're doing great. : )
Thank you! Thanks for pointers. Your videos are very helpful and I now feel that I'm useful when playing Pharah.
Went 10-0 in placements because of all your guides you make. Thanks man for 90% of my pharah knowledge
Thank you so much Valkia! I play on the ps4 console. Watching your videos have really helped me a ton! Im really trying to get out of plat.
Valkia makes the best hero guides, literally, he makes me wanna play pharah
These vids definitely help me, I've been staying in the air longer and being able to fight hitscans and win!
forgot to turn off Soldier's ULT
A few minutes into the practice session and they all ULT'd and had their pulse rifles during the ULT period.
Oh man, that was a rude awakening
Hey valk you should do a series where we submit videos and you coach us similar to stylosa but with pharah.
Corey Berg agree
This is the video I needed to improve my pharah skills! Thanks valkia!
I often practice against 6 lucios too, they are evasive and if you don't double tap them fast enough they heal up. Their projectiles also stay on in my custom games so I have something to dodge. Also something Valkia didn't mention is using concussive blast to corner people or just make them move more predictably.
This is one of your best videos ever. Good work!
Watching your videos has helped me climb from plat to high diamond very quickly
finally, a guide I really needed to use to improve my accuracy.
Great pharah guides!! Thank you, you helped me escape diamond and get into masters!!
I just watched this playlist and I must say the production value of the later videos is superb compared to earlier videos where you sound like you aren't exactly sure how to say what you want to say.
Hey man, thanks to your vids, I'm getting better as Pharah! And by getting better I mean I still suck!
These vids got me from 1600 to 2900 currently as a pharah main, thanks
your videos on diving hitscans is what is gonna ket me get up to diamond later this week.
I do have a significant problem with Pharah when the enemy switches to double histcans and a zen/ana. Your Pharah vids are always the best! ❤️
thank you SO much. i definitely fell direct hits are my weakest part and hopefully this make me a better pharah player.
i started playing lot of Pharah because of you thank you!
Love ur guides, keep up the good work!!! I've had a question for a while now and I can't find the answer online so I figured I'd ask you. With pharah, should you click out each shot, or hold down left mouse? Is there a specific time when you should do either!? I'm really stuck, please help.
Do you aim using wrist only or you move your arm also? What is your sensitivity and DPI?
Nice video, buddy pharah from across the pond. 🤘
Love your vids valkia! Keep up the work!
Valkia your my got to guy for Pharah even though I play console I have learned a lot from your vids
My pharah has improved so much from Valkia's videos. Now I routinely play into double hitscan with minimal problems.
Something else than training range, bruuuuuuuuuuh thanks man!
btw with the possible low gravity thing could we be able to train midairs?
Thanks, man
The bot practice in the range was/is helpful. Noticed I consistently fire as if the rockets traveled just a tiny bit faster than they actually do. In the process of training (muscle mem) myself to stop that ;)
This newer way of setting up a practice "range" seems frick'n great!
Can't wait to try it out later.
:::: checks clock for quitting time... just 6 more hours to go lol ::::::
Thx man, you tips helped me a lot.
definitely gonna try this
Gameplay has improved and I'm making 6 figures, paid off my mortgage, and found the cure to mortality.
Thanks Valkia!
Great videos man thank you!
This is great! I'm trying to become a Pharah Main
Thanks to you I´ve became a Pharah main . I don´t have so much problems with Direct rockets (3000 + hours on TF2 , soldier main ^^ heh). Thanks for your videos Buddy.
love your guides, got my pharah to 12k hero score on overbuff today :'3 (still struggling in plat hell though)
I'm almost pushed into gold on comp, decided to give comp a try and my sr went up, had a few great rounds as Pharah.
my 2nd most hero became pharah... almost reaching master, thx to this vid
Thank you for your videos they help a lot. Though i have a question - how to deal with Genji? He just jumps around evading all direct and aoe damage and meanwhile he just spams RMB and deflect then just shift through you and gg. I can't workout a good strategy against him. Can you pls make a tutorial for how to beat a pharah in a 1v1 or if the enemy pharah has a mercy on her? Btw thank you so much for your videos. It really helps me and others.
He already made a video about that
Daniel Drucker yeah but i want something more explicit
Adrian Preda explicit?
more detailed and in-depth
kill the mercy first
Taking pharah to the next level requires map knowledge (health pack locations) and an understanding of player behaviour / motivation.
Which rank are you currently at? Love your Pharah guides keep it up!
I already have a similar practice set up, but I use Lucio bots on hard, and don't turn off their ability to damage. Damage is increased by 70% so a direct hit insta-kills Lucio, but heals dealt and received are both 500% so not hitting directly leaves him healed up fully.
I noticed that sneaky advertisement in your saved gamemodes.
Awesome man, thanks :)
Can you share with me your pharah settings?
This is really helpful maybe after some more practice and I can get out of bronze and get to at least low (cus that's who I end up against in QP anyway for some reason)
Can this guied work on console as well?
Ibody12 12 yes
Why is attacking from above so much fun?
Thx for this guide .
i feel like you should do it with cooldowns on, with pharah it's very important to know to manage your abilities
I was diamond last season, failed my placements and now i'm stuck in mid platinum.(hell) I used to play roadhog and tracee but now hes been nerfed and i've been picking up pharah. Do you guys have any tips for climbing? Not just Valkia i'm asking everyone in the comments. Thank you.
Why did you choose medium first and not hard ai?
Dude you are a god!
big up mark purdy
I've found hard lucios are great for this. They run away more and heal quickly if you can't two or three shot them.
Have u tried pharah on ptr with the 76 nerf valkia?
Do you ever rocket jump because I see players like seagull do that all the time. If so, can you make a guide on that like how to do it correctly and when it is useful because I don't see any guides on it anywhere.
I'll try this but, I'll switch out soldier with tracer. if I can direct hit her then I should be able to direct anything I assume
Just remember that Tracer has less health, so she does not need 2 actual direct hits, one could just be splash dmg. Movement wise yeah I like the Tracer idea !
only limited heroes are available as AI, tracer/genji/pharah are not one of them
Valkia ohh yeah I forgot about that
Hey Valkia, want to first thank you. watching your videos got me from 1900 rating to now sitting at 2700. I know I can hit diamond, but this is my predicament. what comp combo is best for pharah? i have 2 friends that are always on, and if we cam get a good comp that synergies well we can deffinetly hit diamond.
Horus Gaming Mercy oc and I guess everything that fits into a dive comp supports Pharah playstyle.
That being said, I'm barely platinum and I struggle with not getting to play Pharah as everyone in that rank takes dps and I'm not afraid to flex and yet people rage-quite anyway. Decent MMR on low-rank is an unescapable pit of frustration.
I had one game with 76 or so direct rocket hits most I've ever had it was by far my best gameplay as pharah.
Thanks Valkia
is the twitchtv/valkia game anything special or is it just a self-plug?
Also good to increase movement speed of the soldiers for more of a challenge
this helped i climbed out of gold into plat, almost high plat
Silver to Plat. Thank you so much
the soldiers crowd around my feet and keep chasing me so i cant even get a good realistic distance to aim
A lot of people said that will be a nerf to pharah is that right?
X_AliGam4r_X there might be but blizzard hasn't said anything
The cool kid hope not
nah, it was an april fools joke
hi valkia, suggest to also off 76's ulti xD i just tried and almost all 76 kinda ulti and kill me while i was happy practicing away rolf!
NICEEE!!! TY MAN!
Hello, tell me what sens and dpi u have?
thanks you thats à really good video
"don't be too worried about your pharah accuracy" lol this is why i main pharah and not, say, mccree
Pharah ulting guide?
These comments look like bots. They're all so generic like "This guide helped me get better! Thanks!"
+Ed most people are from my stream, no bots here
Master Valkia, what about dealing with other pharahs?
There's already a video on that.
Alpha Sapphire oh sorry, I'm new, thanks!
Either get height-advantage and get close to them, or take advantage of when they're close to a surface to do splash-damage. Honestly though, the best way is to get good at direct hits cause it won't matter if your target is airborne or not.
Thanks man you are my Favorit Overwatch UA-camr :) you Play pharah so good and i hope i Play better pharah than now :)
Rank Diamant 30/40 kills at the round :)
At what Dpi so you Play?
Hey Valkia. Now...obviously you aren't the other Pharah main/user. With that said, how does one counter another Pharah? Or better yet, easily counter her with another Pharah? Considering it is a bit different since now the battle is in the air and not on using the ground.
Why not hard Lucios instead of medium Soldiers?
That's also fine - the possibilities are endless, they can't all be covered. Lucios are great too, you can even increase the movement speed etc.
I finally hit plat with a 61% win rate on Pharah. Thanks Valkia! Diamond next..
