Regular Show was great for all ages. My kids are 13 years apart, and it was our thing to watch it together. I asked my son (7) what kind of boyfriend his sister (20) needed. He thought a moment then said, "Just probably not Mordecai and Rigby."
I've been watching his work since I was 12, now I'm 21 and I'm still watching it! He did an amazing job doing both shows, not only for a kid audience but for adults too, which is hard to do.

I would however, not be opposed to a continuation akin to the "25 years later" comic, but I don't expect anything for a long time. Like Quintel implied, he's probably not going to do anything with Regular Show until Close Enough is over.

I haven’t seen close enough yet but I know that regular show was originally intended to be more mature themed so it’s most likely good. I’ve rewatched regular show multiple times and it’s my favorite show of all time. I can still watch it as a stoned out college student and get everything if not more from it. I was obsessed with it while it was in its first few seasons and I was entering middle school. A reboot would be incredible if done traditionally. I’m glad to see close enough shares the stylization.

I've heard a lot of people talking down about close enough and how it's not all that great but personally i love the show. It's not too over the top violent, the jokes aren't overwhelming and the two protagonists actually get along as a married couple. Most shows that have this cover the relationship with fighting and conflict for easy drama and humor but this show makes it so Josh and Emily have not the greatest relationship but the show still puts emphasis on their love for one another and their daughter in such a way where I'm not bored from it. Maybe I just have a biased because regular show but I really enjoy watching this series.

Characters weren't interesting, the whole alternative lifestyle in the house was cliched and not relatable. Characters weren't very funny or unique. Hopefully if he makes another show it is as well thought out and relatable as Regular Show was. Sometimes it really is better to make a show for a broad audience.

Not one part of that formula was that of another show, only the ending was normal when they came to a resolution

Unlike Regular Show and Close enough which both are sitcoms, this will be the first educational series and the first preschool-focused series created by him, this series is also co produced by BBC Natural History Unit
