Interesting to hear the description about the tillage/no tillage rows in that corn field you’re planting. I walk through the Experimental Farm in Ottawa from time to time and there is a research program measuring the difference between tilling and leaving the ground undisturbed in terms of harvest results. No prairie winds here so not quite the same environment. Your explanation sure made sense though. Mulch is good in any garden, even the huge ones! And so is a wind break, even on a small scale.
How important is perfectly straight when it comes to harvest? Seed testing is very progressive and technical. Thank you for sharing. Good call on the wet spot.
I enjoy all your videos, sometimes I'm curious to know what quarter (who owned it before you) you're on. It sure takes me back to Elm Creek!!! Keep them coming....
The field Darryl went through the water, we call it Bob's wild west. It's right across the road from Bob and Deb Frost old yard sight. I was out on the Gibson land, near Steven Tkachyk.
Always good explanations. Love watching your videos. Keep them coming.❤️🇨🇦

Good call on the wet spot.
With the air seeder it is not important. But corn it is easier for spraying cause we drive down the rows and it makes harvesting easier.
Amazing technology when it works right, but sure a pain when it doesn't. Everyone depends on it. Good luck seeding.
