I hugely relate to a ton of the things you said on this video about your YT channel. Not wanting it to be stressful as you already have a 9-5 job (so cool that you work with Ali). I also have a 9-5 but aim to have my own business in the future. Great video Tintin! Hope your obituary is exactly what you'd like to to be (If you know you know). Much love, YaDudeBryan
Hi Tintin, this video really resonated with me! Love the chill sit-down vibes and the honesty. I hope you share more about going through quarterlife crisis and figuring out what to do next. I'm very much in the same boat and have been thinking of pivoting my channel to share a more honest perspective of what it's like to try to figure out your career (it's hard lol) and that there isn't one big, early decision like your uni major that can replace your responsibility to continue to steer your life. This video makes me feel encouraged to do that. Thanks for that!
Hey Tintin, small bit of feedback on audio in your video - with each jump cut there is a short audible popping sound that comes from the audio being cut in the middle of the wave form. You can get rid of it by adding a really quick volume fade in at the beginning of each clip. Cheers and keep up the good work. Don't forget how flat an exponential curve is in the beginning.
This was so enjoyable to listen to/watch! I would love to see what a week is like in your YT producer life as I'm sure the day-to-day is a bit different so it would be interesting to Zoom out and see what a week looks like.
Hi Tintin, Could you give me some advice on how to hire a good editor for my UA-cam channel? Where should I look for one and how much should I expect to pay per video for a decent quality editor? I'm still a small channel at 800 subs, but I'd like to grow faster by outsourcing some of the editing, yet I don't have a big budget to play with yet. Your insight would be much appreciated.
Will try make a video on this at some point but UpWork and Fiverr are pretty good, I’d say somewhere between $100-200 per video would get you something decent, with about 6-8 hours of editing time. Just have to keep looking until you find someone good and then give lots of feedback in the first few videos, hope that helps!

How did you get the work with Ali, it sounds like something i'd love to do
The "cannot steer a stationary ship" part realted a lot with mi urrent situation, very important to consider while taking a gap year for example

I relate a lot with what you’re saying, Tintin. Loved the ship steering analogy, will definitely steal that for myself. Great video!
Thanks Joao! ❤️

@@tintinsmith thx, it helps. Do you recommend upward for that? or any other platform in particular?
@@katjafeldmeier Upwork is the best I think
