I have an 05 600rr with 51k on it, still rides like new...Love it love it love it. You can't beat the attention to detail Honda puts into their engines. My first bike was a 1988 Honda Hurricane 600 when I was in the Military, I served 8 years in Southern CA. and put 113,000 miles on it.
My coworker has an 04 and I was amazed at how smooth it was, he had around 89,000mi on it. You really can’t beat Honda 👍🏽

CBR are the best 600cc sport bikes! And it was my 1st bike and i don't need to move up to a 1000cc, 600cc is just enough fun
@ghostrider axr if you're a smart man and have self control. this is a good starter bike becaus 300, you will feel you need more power in a short time.

I have this identical bike. Same year same graffix kit. Love this bike. Perfect bike for riders who've been riding bikes for a few years and are comfortable without a quick shifter.
My 07 CBR600RR has a quick shifter fitted, only a few hundred $ to have fitted. Gear indicator is also a handy addition.

I'm just about to get my first CBR600RR... Tried one last year and got hooked! Which gear ratio do you suggest up from stock? It's not mentioned in your comments from what I see...
it all depends on your riding style and what you want to accomplish. you dont want to do too big in the rear because then it changes your wheel base.
Thanks for the reply - I'm not looking to do anything drastic, but your comment in the video about changing the gear ratio provoked me to ask what the benefit is of changing the gearing to tap into the bike more.
Is it mainly for acceleration? or top end?

@@TrevorBodogh there are gear ratio calculators for most bikes on the Internet. Simply enter the name and type of bike and gear ratio calculator in Google and they'll come up.

Totally agreed with you. If you've not ridden anything before, don't start on a 600. It WILL kill you. I had a guy who rides a scooter. He had some money and bought a R6...3 months later, he broke his right collar bone, his right arm, 3 ribs and fracture his pelvis. He had a high side at Sepang circuit. Turn 3, cold tyres, too much lean angle and was gunning it.

Everyone has their own opinion but my little sister got her first supersport (2009 R6) at 16 and never ridden before now she is 19 and riding a hayabusa. Respect the power of any bike and the rider will be okay. But i currently ride a GSXR1000 need something bigger.

What’s a sprocket and how do I change it? I just got my beginners motorcycle license
The sprocket is the thing the chain wraps around on the back tire. Has a set of teeth. As a beginner If you have a beginner bike I wouldn't worry about changing it. But If you really want to I'm sure your owners manual has instructions to remove it but remember you will need a new chain with a new sprocket
