It was necessary to mail it because they wanted the original copy. A photocopy would’ve been invalid. The time it takes to ship varies, but for us it took 10 days to ship from Japan to Canada. Hope that helps!
My wife (Japanese) and I (Canadian) live in Canada but we want to apply for spousal visa. We got married in Japan and I lived there for nearly 10 years before. Our marriage was registered in Japan but right now we don't work in Japan (because we're in Canada) but we both have around $100000CAD saved up. Do you think we could get a spousal visa? We also have a baby.
I am pretty positive that you can get a spousal visa. But you have to ask one of your wife's family to help you. Her family member has to go to immigration office for submitting your documents as your wife isn't in Japan.
It took around 3 months from the time we applied to the time we received the document. Luckily the government didn't request any additional information from us because the information we submitted was sufficient. If they had requested more information it's hard to say exactly how much extra time it would take. Every case is unique! All you can do is be as diligent as possible while filling out forms and everything should work out over time.
@@mack_mariko_adventures Okay thanks because some idiot was being really rude to me and saying that I'll get rejected for not showing bank statements and having sufficient funds for spouse visa.
I received my COE, could you let help me out with the visa application and requirements as, the requirement in the site is very general. Sorry and congrats.
@@RahulRajShah1 you have one single entry which 1 or 3 years but doesnt matter it would be canceled at the airport and you get new visas and extensions in immigration office as you live in japan ..if you become permanent resident you dont need anything but re-entry permits,, you must have been thru something because you have fears ..
Yes, you can! But if it's not enough income to support living in Japan, it must be better to add bank statement to show your savings or name of family member who will help you financially.
