Hi,
Iam a medical student from Germany and I will start from the 5th year . Iam married and have a little daughter here . I wanted to try visit most important lectures and take the exams . I have already finished everything here except for the last medical exam . Is it possible to skip unimportant lectures and only do the important rotations and important lectures .

Hi are you open to answering questions about your course? I’m considering the same path!
How does it work when you go back to the UK to join the NHS? Are you treated like any other junior doctor applicant?
I also heard you can skip FY1, how do opportunities look for this? Is it hard as an IMG to get into a standalone FY2 position?
How are the opportunities in general for an IMG looking for positions in the NHS? I imagine it’s quite hard as UK trained doctors will get priority?
What happens if you are rejected? Do you just reapply or do they have any system/garuntee in place such as if you get rejected the first time around you have garunteed entry next time openings happen?
