The J7W Shinden was a prototype local fighter developed by the Imperial Japanese Navy at the end of World War II. It was called the "heretic wing" because of its unique front-wing fuselage shape. The prototype was completed in June 1945, and a test flight was conducted in August of the same year, marking the end of the war.
J7W Shinden, which appears in the movie Godzilla-1.0, was produced.

I used "DeepL" for automatic translation. Please let me know in the comments if there are any mistranslations. Grammar is difficult to correct because of the automatic translation, but please let me know if there are any words or names that are wrong in ship model terminology. - Навчання та стиль
the beautiful movie that gave visibility to this amazing aircraft concept.
Fun fact, Toho actually built a 1:1 scale of this aircraft and they donated to a museum but they asked to kept it secret about who built it and why was it built until the movie is released in Japan. You can find this replica in Tachiarai Peace Memorial Museum or the real aircraft in National Air and Space Museum, USA although only half of its fuselage remains.
when i saw this plane in the movie i had an itch to grind it in war thunder, its such a cool looking plane
I have seen it.i myself am a military modeler.however, always a fan of godzilla! Enjoy you show very much!
Love the model kit. Just bought this model kit only in 1/32 scale. Can’t wait to try out your technique in building this kit.
Since I don’t have an airbrush kit, I had always rely on brushes and spray paint.
Take Care and have a blessed weekend.
🙏🙏🙏
I hope the Smithsonian will restore the J7W Shinden, which they are keeping in the warehouse.
最初厚塗,2、3次薄塗,會有比較好的效果,請務必嘗試。
I watched the movie on Japan Airline in April this year on the way to Kaogoshima. The team of engineer made ejection seat for the brave pilot.😊
ゴジラマイナスワン仕様ならドイツ製の射出座席付きだったけどさすがに付属してなかったか
Godzilla snack, I hear it causes terrible indegestion. 😉🥵

最初から最後まで凄かったですよね!
I know it's too late to comment, but... It's not too late to miss this video. It's a shame that the Japanese Empire left this plane only as a prototype (it would have changed somewhat the dogfight like the Germans with the 262)
Good video and greetings
I read that the J7W Shiden was real warplane but never saw any action but it was a prototype.
Much like the ME-262, this plane came too late to make any difference in the war.
@@SauronEye True. If it had. I wonder if it would've changed the course of WW2?
@@SauronEye No. The Me-262 was a successful plane that served actively for 2 years.
The J7W1 was only in prototype phase (hence the "1" in the designation)
It didn't see service, and it was planned to use a Jet engine, but the prototyping never got there.
Japan also had the Nakajima Kikka project, which despite the name was not a suicide plane, but a dumbed down version of the Me-262.
The original plan for that was the Ki-201 Karyu, which was supposed to be a near exact copy or the Me-262, but Japan failed to recieve the needed blueprints, so they had to improvise a plane like that.
The Kikka was built in the very last days of the war, but before it could take off, Japan surrendered.
There is a remaining J7W1 Shinden fuselage in an US museum.
Well, yes it is a real plane. All equipment showed in the movie is real even the ''big'' Japanese tanks are also real.
