- Welcome to Sonne Farms! On this channel we showcase numerous jobs a Corn/Soybean/Beef producing operation takes on each day. Hop in the cab or sorting alley with Cole, Brian, and Jeff, to see how life really is for the people that help feed the US and the rest of the world. In addition to Corn, Soy, and Cattle, Sonne Farms puts up grass and alfalfa and sells pure bred Black Angus Bulls in South Dakota.

The product Brian and Cole have used for 3 calving seasons. "We haven't lost one calf from scours since we started using Optimizer"
Seeing the beautiful bales of hay rolling out never gets old x

Vay anam vayyyyy.....😂😂😂😂
The main difference between these bale rolls and square baked is, with rolled bales the livestock gets a well rounded diet as opposed to the regular bales providing 3 square meals a day. 😂😂😂
Brooo 😂
Hay, hay, hay. Those puns won't bail you out of pun jail.
@@williamd1891 a farmer kept waking up every morning and seeing part of his hay field had been harvested. Could never catch whoever was doing it. Then one day he caught people out in the field harvesting hay. By the time he got out to where they were, they had baled on him.
Triple roll! Didn’t see any of that last year.
Usually two at a time...
but the stars aligned for this occasion...

Let's hope Sonne Farms has a great grass and alfalfa crop for hay.
Brian, That bale accumulator was a great addition to your equipment. I haven't seen any that you made into permanent residents that haven't been. But i gotta say, 'old dumpy' is my favorite.
I could watch these harvesting machines work all day. There's something mesmerizing about it!
Yall doing a Good Job! Fast & Efficent!
Praying your get the moisture needed for a great hay crop!!
I’m amazed at how fast John Deere Balers can bake!
*Bale 🤓
@@Sam-ow4ws 🤣 I do that way too much! Haha
I hope you have the best year ever, i love when you are in the field working.
Y’all are already making hay?!😂 we got a foot of snow where I am in Montana two days ago lol
This is a clip from a video from last year.
They were cutting hay in Texas during December
@@connorscheel6068 While that may be true for that farm it was certainly not the case for the Sonne's in South Dakota.
We’ve been baling hay since the end of March here in north Texas
Great work sonne farms I'm your no 1 fan in Nigeria wish you all the best
Way to cool, love the short.❤❤
Man and to think this all used to be done by and collected by horses and a trailor by hand
Speeds up the forklift pickup by twothirds!
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO Cole and Brian ❤ 😊
Poor old COW can't get a SQUARE MEAL 🐂🐄🐎LOL 🐄🐂
Cows need a well-rounded meal plan
Man, that thing covers some ground!
Those round bales were banned!
(cows weren't getting a square meal)
Too funny
Nice rounder Baylor
I love the technology in farming equipment these days 👍
100% there will be this bale operator in the farm simulator 24-25😊
Holland 1036
With this one can bale stack on trailer and tilt trailer and bales are neatly stacked where needed. One man crew is needed. The driver.
Whoa, I didn't realize y'all were doing hay, cool!
This is a clip from a video from last year.
We love ours! We try to put them on one end of the field. Saves chasing all over the field
Booking it making bales.... That's giving it the business.
Wow, that thing is moving fast!
Fantastic Johne Deere baler! Never seen baling done that fast!
"Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌 👍 🇺🇸
That’s actually sick
I like John Deere Balers and kubota Tractors.
I'm sorry but that's bad ass. What a beast!
Getting it done in the Greatest country in the world American strong keep on keeping on
Way easier than the way we did it 35 years ago when I was kid.
That is super cool
Great fastest most efficient straw baler
It’s that a manufactured implement or something the farmer invented? I’d like to see the mechanism for moving the bales to the side.
Sooooo satisfying
The John Deere way is the best way
hope you guys get more rain
I love that machine!❤❤
And look how purty those bales are. ❤️👩🦳
Getting the work done
Amazing how farming technology has advanced definitely beats stacking bales as they come out out the baler or using a come along to load round bales lol
Nice caption
only right way to do it
Rockin' and a Rollin'
Farmer king👍😎
They say nothing runs like a Deere.
With that baler they should add, nothing dumps bales like a Deere either !
Hay hay hay 👍
Wow that awesome 👌
Why is this so awesome?
Best idea... Best John deere...
Crazy graphics
That’s really cool and everything but please show a video of how in the world do you get the bales on the sides? Very confusing!!!
Here’s hoping this years hay crop is 3x last year.
Never seen it done this way before
Get ur done!!
Love it!
Nice i love John deere❤🎉😊
I have a question for farmers out there, why drop 3 balls in a row instead of dropping them as soon as they are made ?
So I assume there's a system that pulls the bails to the left and right before the 3rd bail I'd like to see that part
Does anyone else have fun make hay or it just me 😂
I need to up my insurance and make a vidio, it would be funny but scary in my hills.great on flatland you can dump in piles to load them quicker too
Large square bales on steep hillsides??
Whats the point of this compared to just dropping them as you roll them? Single rolls means less fuel to pull and less weight on the ground per sq/in. Less compaction.
Good idea but the bale carrier needs wheels to support that weight??
Genuine question, what’s the point of having three on the back rather than dropping as you go? Surely it’s less efficient lugging three huge bales around? Cool video though
More efficient for loading, 3 in 1 spot rather than 1 at a time.
Hai capito 💪
Now that’s cool
I don't want to sound stupid but are those used for anything? The hays i mean.
Cool
American Farming 💪
I thought the John Deere way was losing wifi connection in the middle of a field and needing a technician to come out to turn your tractor back on?
?
That will never pay for itself
Just from lining them up across the whole field in one row means far less front end loader work which also means far less compaction of the soil....
This enables 2 men on a family farm to do the work without needing to use off farm labour
@@JohnSmith-pl2bk I don’t think you have to worry about compaction with a loader🤣
@@platypus1287
Every vehicle leaves a "footprint"....
@@JohnSmith-pl2bk you’re stupid
nice❤
Nickel c'est machine
Just never liked the idea of stopping every time a bale needed to be pushed out...at least with large square bales you can keep rolling along while they get pushed out and dropped
We used to set fire to hay bales on farms e
I want one
I have see toys like these
Seems like a lot of extra cost you have to pick them up anyway..

Sehr cool
Once I saw a guy who got his arm stuck in one of these.
Whats the benefit of having more weight on the back
Yeah i think this is work made fore johndeers... otherwise they would run hot way to fast 😂
Ottima..la.. macchina..arrotolatrice..a..tre..rotoli.. eccellente... novità... super.. okey 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
How do you make bails? that big i’ve been trying for years.
How many balers do you have and what models are they?
Just this one and a baler to use in case they need to make ditch hay. They just traded in their old ditch baler for a new to them ditch baler and I cannot remember what its model was.
Ok cool,I was just wondering because my father-in-law and uncle designed and build a bale ramp system that eliminates the John Deere bale kicker system and it works amazingly well and is much faster than the kicker system,we would be interested in having you try one and see what you think about it,but only if you want to….we could possibly install it on a baler for you if you are interested. I can send you videos and pictures if you are interested…. Rolling Ramps Mfg LLC
@@kyleschrock7853 just to point out that if you want for your offer to get seen your best bet is to track down the Sonne farms business email instead of leaving a reply on to a comment on a youtube short.
That time of the year again already?
