We're glad you enjoyed the new improvements we made to the STREAK65 LP. We will continue to listen to the feedback from our fans and use that to make even better products in the future. We're coming for that #1 spot, Frank! 😉
Just got my keychron k6 in the mail and I love it so far. Keep in mind you have to spend extra on the hot-swappable version but I’m just getting into keyboards so I’m fine with my gateron browns
These vids are always great to watch, but I really wish you'd review more full-size gaming keyboards. Almost everyone and their grandmother is talking about tiny miniscule keyboards, meanwhile I click on this video using a full-size, wanting to know what's the next big thing to get, maybe as a christmas present for myself, and every single one of the keyboards you reviewed are "mini" versions. I understand there's a reason behind their popularity, and I'm not saying to exclude them out of a Top 5, but it would have been nice to have a section dedicated to Top 5 "regular" keyboards and Top 5 "mini" keyboards. Thanks nonetheless for the great content!
you should definitely try using numpad on your left side! using the arrow keys or the mouse on your right and typing numbers with your left feels sooo right and fast. that’s why I went “mini” and got a numpad to put on the left!
The ducky one 3 is available in a full size layout, and there are several on the honorable mentions list. He should probable include more full size keyboards, but I thought it was worth pointing out.
I get the feeling that gaming keyboards will have more exciting futures in 2022! Hoping to see a few more major brand companies dive into hot swappable options. Ik EVGA has already done it, Corsair and Razer probably won't for a long time.
I've been using the Q1 for the past 2 months here at work (Phantom Browns), and lemme tell ya... As my first fully-custom mkb, the density of the board with its CNC shell and the slight give of the gasket mount, have made for an incredible typing experience. I have the CM SK631 at home, and previously thought it was a good enough keyboard as my very first mechanical keyboard. After having used the Q1... Yup, this is my new favourite and I can't go back! I'm patiently waiting for the Knobby version to come out to pick up one for home!
@@i.a.57 for Frank's video? Or for the ShortCircuit video? If Frank, he probably received the Q1's stock keycaps which are nicely beveled and not too concaved for your fingertips!
Same! I'm really loving the options I have with the Ngenuity software and the packs I have downloaded through the web for some amazing RGB effects. The effects options may not be a good amount, but the possibilities of editing them together to make your ideal effect is endless.
I would really appreciate if in your keyboard ad keycap reviews if you would mention if a particular board or set is available in ISO layout. That would really take your reviews to the next level for regions who don't use ANSI keyboards. Really hard to find good stuff for UK keyboards for example.
First off I want to say your keyboard reviews are great and some of the best out there in my opinion. If you haven't already, could you please do a video about the best silent keyboards you can get. I know that going completely custom is the best way to achieve this, but I simply don't have the time nor the desire to stress over a keyboard like that. In a perfect world I would want a keyboard that you literally can't hear the keys being hit at all. But I know that is basically impossible. I hope this comment makes it's way to you and you decide to do a video on this. Keep up the amazing work! Also on a side note, That razer keyboard was DAMN close to what I am looking for. Like if I can't get what I want in a prebuilt then I'll probably end up buying that keyboard instead.
I am currently rocking the Hyper X Alloy Origin Core with the Aqua switches with modifications of adding dampening foam to the housing and taping the PCB to get more of a thoc sound out of the keys.
It's a great keyboard and I loved the smoothness and tactility of the aqua switches, but the stabilizer rattle on the spacebar, shift, and enter keys killed it for me. I tried adding krytox 205g0 with a thin paintbrush to the metal parts of the stabilizers and it helped a bit, but without being able to take the keyboard apart, there was no way to do it properly. Other than that and the recessed USB-C port making it difficult to use custom cables, it is one of my favorite keyboards.
@@cyberflex11 a lot of the rattle comes from the stabiliser housing colliding with the plate, what i did was pull the stab housings out and put a piece of bandaid between the plate and stab housing and it made a huge difference
I don't think it would be a bad idea if you did these videos but for each Keyboard category (ie. 60%, 80%, full, etc.). The Razer Huntsman keyboard size is the size I personally need, so a dedicated top 5 for that size would be sick.
@@shitbringer pretty good, I keep lighting at 25% it's plenty and the battery lasts a long time. I don't have any complains besides the spacebar needs to be lubed, I use it 8hours+ a day and so far so good
@@Thisgueyesguapo still awesome, very portable and the protective case is more useful than I thought, I take it work everyday and after programming on it for months it still holds strong, battery is still good, the only downside is the software, it's pretty mediocre
Great video! I purchased the new Falchion with their proprietary NX switches in the tactile Mocha Brown a couple weeks ago and I am really enjoying the feel and sound of the new switches. I have to say that they have a much bigger tactile bump than the Cherry MX Browns in the original, and are much closer in feel to Glorious Pandas. I have not been able to try the other linear or clicky NX switches, but it would be great to hear what you think about them and how they compare to the Cherry MX versions.
I've had my Q1 for a month now, with specs exactly like in the video (navy, phantom browns), and it feels amazing to play and type with. This is my first fully custom mkb and I'm so satisfied with it and it's also worth it for the price for me. Currently modding with tape mods and waiting for my Kat Comet to come
