I love your last point about not being brand loyal. I don’t have an issue with it personally and I’d say 75% of my stuff is from one brand. However, I do get annoyed at when people are super impressed with a common full Rogue or REP gym because it looks good when in reality, it’s not hard to go to their websites, add a bunch of stuff to the cart and hit checkout. Now your gym, that’s creative. That takes work. That takes thinking. That’s impressive.
Great tips and tricks! I’d love to do a French cleat system when I build out my next gym. I didn’t realize that you could change dimensions of equipment in Zeus, that’s a great trick for planning equipment location!
Darko Lifting barbell anchor and barbell dock are great options too. I use the anchor for storing my Rogue squat bar as I will never use it outside of the rack. I have changed my home gym layout many times, LOL.
I've used the Zeus builder in the way you described before and it was CLUTCH in figuring out how to fit my equipment in my smaller space. Great info in this video 👍
@@TheKurtlocker Actually, I was talking about your logo. I love how you've worked it in so many places. It really brings the gym together and is something I'm prob gonna copy a bit in mine.
@GymCrafter my brother made the diamond plate one. It’s a layered logo and he’s wanting to do them for other logos as well. HMU in DM or text and I’ll get you two linked up
@@TheKurtlocker I’ll probably stick with rep and just build a custom thing. Or I’ll just find some cheap crossmembers that’ll fit and make a Frankenstein rack
Can you use the Surplus Strength UPS with the weight stack or are you limited to the weight pin? I have been doing some workouts with the wife and switching between sets with the pin has become a little frustrating.
Livin' easy in those slides.
What slides?
@carps_gym you know the ones…
That French cleat system is absolutely bad ass.
Thank you

I like a lot of different pieces. Sticking to 1 brand sounds lame. Lol. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for showing off the space. Liked the thoughtful layout and learned some things I can incorporate into my gym.
Thank you for watching! Happy to hear my content helps

I use it all the time because I don’t know how to program my own Zeus.
Helpful video. Thanks for putting that together. Great space mate!
Thanks for the compliment and the watch! It’s appreciate more than you know.
Great use of space
Thank you sir! If French cleats were available as a panel style mount for sale, like a wall control panel, would you buy any?
Best wall storage in the game sir! 💪
I appreciate that.
Tuned in to see how how you store the yoke
I should have filmed be getting it out
Good video dude. Glad you covered not only solutions to buy, but thought processes to maximize.
Thanks Joe! That means a lot to me
The video I needed most! Well done, sir.
Thanks Rob. Means a lot from you

Darko makes awesome stuff
Love this. I was recently thinking about doing a similar video. Feeling motivated now!
Create it! I’ll watch it
Great topic for a video! Well done! I wish I had more space!
I think we all do
I gotta make french cleats. Thank you for making this video!!
I’m thinking of redoing my entire French cleat system with my lessons learned. Any interest in that kind of content?
Looking good in there
Thanks bro!
Got a real 80s dad vibe with the outfit and background music. Liking it!
Ha. I have a fanny pack that I wasn’t wearing in the video.

Thank you for watching. The Zeus builder is an absolutely awesome resource
100% ocd approved!😃Love all the small branding touches!
Ha. The best part is I get no affiliate stuff from any of those brands…except rep and straydog

Got the new rep storage system and absolutely love it. I went with full uprights not the 60" uprights in the builder.
I would have to move my garage door up to the ceiling to accommodate full uprights…probably a worthwhile adjustment though!
Kurt cleans up nice!
Thank you! There may be dust on the bottle…
Also, great video! I want to do the same with my rack. 30” inside with 18” behind for storage. My 43” x 43” is just unnecessary
Go for it! What brand are you leaning towards?
@@TheKurtlocker I’ll probably stick with rep and just build a custom thing. Or I’ll just find some cheap crossmembers that’ll fit and make a Frankenstein rack
@RoryEllisMusic awesome. Rep is pretty awesome
@@TheKurtlocker they’re definitely making some cool things for the home gym space, that’s for sure.
If I made French cleat panels, would you be interested in that as a product for sale?
Great stuff. Sometimes it is a game of inches to make equipment fit into a garage gym.
So true. The balance of functional space versus wasted space. The floor square footage is gold
Can you use the Surplus Strength UPS with the weight stack or are you limited to the weight pin? I have been doing some workouts with the wife and switching between sets with the pin has become a little frustrating.
You can use a weight stack. I’ve seen several folks do it with success
Still waiting on that 3D printed 2nd place award 😉 😂
You and me both…good help is hard to come by
@@TheKurtlocker ain’t that the truth!!
You can always sell stuff you know 😂
That’s a ridiculous suggestion
@@TheKurtlocker 😂
That outfit makes you look like such a Fed 😂🫶🏻
Technically I am a fed.
@@TheKurtlocker exactly!
