Nice review Sir! My old guitarist had a little Mesa boogie Amp back in 80 it is hard to believe the new tech is so much smaller but yet packs so much power now.
Thanks buddy! Really appreciate it! I know it's really crazy remember how much those things weighed?! I do think we are lucky to have all this tech developments! Might not sound as good as the original but it's all about compromises!
@@SoulStringChannel yeah that thing was about the size of a briefcase and packed as much power as a marshall stack and it did weigh a ton.. lol He came from one of the Richer families in town and I think that thing cost about six grand he got it as a gift when he was 16.
I was a lead singer for rock bands in the 80's and 90's. Check out my queensryche covers of silent lucidity and jet city woman. Robert Wright Jr.
I got one of these recently to downsize for rehearsal and practice settings. Man, this thing is legit through a full size 4x12. A couple of nice BOSS pedals in the loop and I rarely get my full size 100 watt heads out anymore. Great video man!!
If you prefer a more British sound, then try the Joyo Meteor II. It's very good!
