Excellent tutorial. Thank you! I just ordered 4 new motors.. (30yrs old).
Camper is up on hacks now, can I replace motor with weight on legs? Silly question, just can't lower one due to motor failure 😢.
Can't wait to do this cleaning and greasing. Really appreciate your time

Boy, you got Gary thinking hard on that one. We haven't had that situation. There's a coupling between the motor and the jack leg that will be under tension, so it may be quite difficult to do. Do you have an extra floor jack and wood for that one corner of the camper?

Yes I have a floor jack, so 3 legs holding up the weight? Won't tip over?
You know now that I think of it, when I was messing with going up and down (before the failure) I realized that I had it balancing on 3 legs.. scared the 💩 out of me, but it didn't come crashing down.
I waiting for the jacks to arrive on Thursday. I'll tinker with it beforehand and find out.
Thank you for responding to my comment. Love your channel 😊

I probably didn't write well- we were suggesting to place the jack with wood on the corner with the bad jack. So the weight of that corner is being held by your floor jack. This would remove that pressure Gary was talking about to replace the motor. Ideally it's best on camper stands, but I do understand the challenge. We prefer to work on the jacks with our camper stand. These are heavy and aren't cheap, but are so very helpful when working on the camper - especially the jacks. It's also great when you have the camper off for extended periods of time. amzn.to/3T3Ev2G

I have a set of 4 on my 10 year old Camp Lite 10' and the raising cycle seems to be slowing down and encountering resistance. I blew a 40Amp fuse in the battery box raising them. I have been greasing the legs and replaced the 4 bottom seals, but never saw this video until this morning on how to lube the top end interior where the screw is, taking apart the gears to clean and lube in the motor head, and that the screw shaft can be pulled out to clean/grease and kinda polish. Thank you for posting this. Next stop on the coffee work this morning is ordering a set of seals from Reico!

There is a bolt on the bottom of the leg to remove foot to replace the seal.

Thanks Mike! For some reason I don't see that on ours but maybe that's on other later versions. Appreciate the tip!

Nice video. Would like to have seen this a month ago. Did you get the replacement seals directly from Reico-Titan?

Hello! Yes, the seals are direct from Reico. I have the specific links in the description and onnourbwebpage at joslynjourney/e106. Hope that helps!

@@TheJoslynJourney I just replaced 2 of our Jacks. They seemed to be binding up. But, planned to rebuit (if possible) when we get home.

Thanks for the video. I wish there was a safety on the arms when lowering. My remote stuck and it closed all the way then bound up. I couldn't raise the camper. Your video gave me enough confidence to take it apart and then used pliers, bar and some muscle to get the screw drive to release. I cleaned everything up and it works better than the other three. Will rake apart the others to clean and grease. Thanks again

Wow, that sucks about your remote. But now you'll be an expert! So glad that our video helped a bit!

Why don't you need to replace the seal that is in the top of the leg (@11:30)?

Hi! Thanks for watching. When we ordered seals from Reico, we didn't ask for this one or the seal at the top of the gear housing. These looked good, but you can orrder all 4 seals from Reico. We replaced the ones that are more exposed to the weather, which are the ones that usually cause the prolems.
