    Recently purchased the same kit. You're the only instructional on the subject. Thank you so very much for making this video.
    On my camper the electric jacks I'm replacing.. Can I switch out motor with weight being on the legs? Not on stands or on vehicle. Had one motor fail while off truck. Need to figure out how to do this. Thanks for making the video 😊

    Hooking everything up is the simplest part and pretty straight-forward. I wish you had shown how you ran the wires through the trailer and installed the outside motor plugs. How did you install the remote connection panel at 4:14? Every camper will be different but it would have helped me to see how you did it. The parts I most wanted to see are the parts you skipped!

      Sorry this was back when I first started but I will take notes for future videos to be a little more detailed.... The remote connection is a simple phone cord connection on both ends.... Also in that fact running all the wires would have made for a really long video.... Lol but thanks for commenting and watching!!!

      @@kentuckycampingcouple Editing can prevent long videos. :) I'll just have to figure it out for myself, poking in cupboards and removing drawers and hoping I can find a clear path for the wires. The HappiJac wiring kit recommends putting the receiver near the front of the camper and I have a convenient place to mount the receiver and breaker just by the converter panel with access to the battery connections.

      @@tomgray971 That is the same way that I done it..... Trial and error my friend... Not familiar with the Happijac set up as mine was a Reico Titan but i assume they would operate very similar... The outcome should be the same lifting the camper up and down Much faster and much easier.... I do hope the video helped you some :)

    Both Part I and II are excellent. Cannot thank you enough! Was pretty intimidated reading the instructions sent with the kit, but this series really hit the spot. You have gift! Have ordered the kit and breaker and will install in a week or so.

      Really great to hear!!! the jacks make a huge difference!!!! We tried to simplify it to be easier, all said the entire install takes about 8-10 hours but I did it over two days due to filming and was in no rush.... Thanks for Watching!!!!

    I hand cranked our camper to put it on the truck yesterday. Hopefully that will be the last time I need to crank it by hand. I was able to find one of these conversion kits on Amazon. That controller is larger than I expected. Some better lighting might have helped. Thank you for posting these videos. I never would have known there was a conversion kit for manual jacks.

      The jack conversion is complete. The installation went pretty smooth other than routing the wiring. Every camper is gonna be different for that. I also found that the adapter housing was slightly larger that the jack housing so I used that large thrust washer from the crank parts as a shim. It worked perfectly and did not have to put a pipe on the drive tub to line it up. I can’t wait to load the camper for the first time. Thanks again for video. Happy trails!

    Wow, thanks for the help! Nice to watch and verify we're doing it right. Plus, we wouldn't have had everything we needed for the job if we hadn't watched your video first. Great job!

    any advice on finding the code on the transmitter so you can make sure your wireless remote code matches? Our wireless remote only functions the front jacks, and i cant for the life of me located the code on the transmitter to make sure they match.

    I have a truck camper like yours, where did you order it from a what was the price if you don’t mind me asking. Did everything you showed in video come with it? Thanks

    • @kentuckycampingcouple
      @kentuckycampingcouple  2 роки тому

      The price for the jack kit was about $1500 and not everything was included.... I had to buy the wire and the circut breaker seperate.... If you look at the description under the video i have included all the links to where i purchased everything... All in it was about $1600 for the install it's high but well worth it in my opinion...
