Hello, right click and you can also add an audio transition. If you want to add an audio transition to a number of clips, highlight the clips so they go brown and then drop the transition on. It will save time not having to add a transition to each edit. When I'm cutting a promo I add the de-interlace effect (changing it to lower field). If you have seen Band of Brothers or Saving Private Ryan they used this a lot in the battle scenes, it looks really good also in sport promos.
besides some specific codecs most editing software has pretty similar export/compression settings. I wouldn't say they vary widely. I was thinking he could go into exporting for youtube and dvd's and other things.
is it bad to mix fisheye lens throughout a video? been working on something lately and have my fisheye for my 1200d, then the deathlens for the iphone. i think it looks a little sketchy however im not sure.. cheers
Come on man! You have to give Mike a break. He takes time out of his own schedule to do this for RIDE. You have to respect him by letting him do what he loves. Be happy you have this kind of resource. Plus, the best way to learn is on your own, get creative, take out your camera and go skate.

I say it doesn't really matter unless you are do like stereo imaging or sound design. I prefer headphones while editing though.

As long as the quality of the videos don't change to much you should be right
I wouldn't use death lens footage at all in your edit.
