for those who want to know what he said in french at 2:00 :
journalist - first of all, congratulation for this impressive fight
cyril - thanks my man, it was a really beautiful fight
journalist - and I speak on behalf of a lot of french to say you didn't disapoint us
    cyril - thanks
journalist - 2 little question, what do you think you lacked for the heel lock and arm lock (kimura) to make them work ? And did you get surprised by the wrestling of francis ?
cyril - I didn't get surprised by his wrestling because in the end it wasn't very technical, on the other hand its power even tho we knew it, it is smthg really hard from him (he means ngannou power is very high) and he knew how to use it well. I did get surprised by its power a few times and thats what makes him win tonight
journalist - ok, and for the kimura and heel lock what you do think you lacked ?
cyril - hm it was close, I don't know exactly I think I would have to watch it again to understand. You know, with the adrenaline and when there is so much at stake it's not easy. Once again I can say he did good at wrestling and he defended well. I was very close (to get him on the lock) so I'm a little bit disapointed
journalist - thanks you very much and congratulation one more time
    cyril - thanks my man

Ladies and gentlemen, gotta Love this guys certainty. What facts are you basing this on ? Just for that arrogance that you feel you can diminish or discredit someone with your mere allegations bc that’s what your opinion is bc that’s all that you have - personal piffle of an opinion - no facts to back it up. And, mind you in addition showing zero respect for Gane’s accomplishments. Thankfully I had some mma education prior to reading your scathing comment and you didn’t convince me at all. Honestly my dear you could use an ounce or two of what Gane is role modeling very well for the industry you are in: sportsmanship. He is a walking example of diplomacy, humility, life long learner, grace, honesty, respect yes RESPECT your opponent and bow to them. That’s prob why he is irking you. Oh and from a professional angle (not the humane one) I guess half if not majority of professionals in ufc seem to differ with you having picked Gane as the better fighter. Dc, Rogan, khabib long list. Just for posting this kind of unfounded piffle instead of acknowledging he’s only been in ufc 3 years - I hope you accidentally step in a bunch of dog 💩 tomorrow.

@@darkfeffy I wrestled for nearly 10 years bud I would drop you on your head, I also won 1600 dollars tonight. Only incels use the word casual and he landed the elbows and knees early on, he needed to take more chances in the later rounds when Francis was completely gassed out, exactly like Rogan and DC said. Not throw fancy high kicks that waste energy. He had under hooks several times and advanced clinched position with Francis against the cage and chose not to break free several times. You must be some sort of yes man and viewers are allowed to have their opinions. He obviously lost for a reason, not just cause of strength alone. Francis has better IQ in the clinch and grappling. 👍

@@4thaloveofmusick202 He needed to take risks to win, even DC said so. He was fighting too safe early on and made too many errors later in the fight that led to him losing position. Can’t just say it’s all down to strength cause a few years ago there is no way Francis would be able to hold guys down like this. He obviously had superior technique that Gane needs to improve on too, not just strength. He stopped using many things from early in the fight like the push kick, jab and elbows and started throwing telegraphed high kicks for some reason. Got too cocky for the knockout.
