Making a (Weird) Stainless San Mai Dagger

This was a fun build, I had no real direction when I started and ideas just started coming. Its a weird one, but I enjoy the textures and the weirdness of it. Lots of learning on this one and thats what its all about. The stainless does touch the edge in a few places, more of an art/concept piece than anything, though it is fully functional.

Great job. As a kid I watched a knife maker Pete Heath make knifes. I never tire watching. Always enjoy seeing the leather work. Keep up the good work. So enjoyable seeing a young people doing a craft.

It looks like the kind of dagger a tribesman would make. Kinda low-tech and rustic, but with magic forged right into the metal through the damascus. Any Tusken Raider would be happy to pair this up with his Gaffi Stick. :)
