Google the list of times Japan has accepted their responsibility for war crimes, some that were not even true, since the end of WW2. Japan apologized to China several times yet because of the cold was the US would not allow a formal meeting between Japan and Chine, in fact they would not allow any meeting of war reparations between Japan and a communist state. It's pretty interesting the untruths being told just to sell a movie about lies.

Some of those people forget the story was about Rabe, not really the individual experiences of chinese people.

No one should have to apologize for acts committed so long ago.

Considering anyone connected is most likely dead or drooling in a home some where what is the point of todays governments commenting on it. But for the record Japan did apologise just because Japan had to follow US foreign policy which was not to formally address communist nations during the cold war they could not formally apologise. But if you look it up they apologized for things that never happened or were made bigger than they really were. They paid all their reparations demanded by the treaties signed post war as well. The US blocked any payments to any communist countries though. Now here it the ironic thing, Japan killed less than 6 million people while the US killed 10 million Japanese alone plus more than a quarter of a million Filipinos in what they tried to pass of as another Japanese atrocity the Manilla Massacre. For days the US fired everything they had into the city of Manilla including large calibre naval guns.

We don't deny our history like Japan does, and we helped Japan recover from it with reconstruction. We even stationed bases there, so Asia didn't have a repeat of what Europe did.
I think we more than made up for it by preventing the possibility of a Chinese invasion, so I don't know, you tell me man. How didn't we make up for it? It's also one of our main motivators to make sure there is no repeat of atomic bomb drops.
Want to know what's more powerful than words? Actions. Actions are. The fact of the matter is... we don't need to apologize, because our actions spoke for us.
That being said... I don't believe in using past atrocities to condemn a whole new generation of people. Those involved in the war have long since died. Remembering history is important, but we should never dwell on it.

Unless you Japan apologize for what they’ve done in China first,or you ain’t in position to ask America for apology, don’t pretend to be like a victim, you have no right for that, you Japanese deserved the consequence, this is your retribution, this is the judgement from the justice, you ain’t different from animals, even worse than them you hear that?So get lost war criminal, you deserve more than like this
