We made a bunch of these also for our craft show this weekend. Like the way you used the 2" strip to hold the chapstick. We used a small dot of Velcro to close them. Good luck

Oh that’s awesome!! How was your show? And how did the chapstick favors do? Did you make enough? I’m worried on not having enough. If they don’t sell I plan on giving them out at my husband’s job… the Velcro is a great idea I was just trying to keep cost and products down to make the most profit from the item but still make it super cute for the buyer. Thanks so much for your feedback I’m so excited to see how it goes this weekend I will keep you updated!!

Oh! And as I was watching, I was thinking of all the satin ribbon I have- would ribbon handles look ok or stick with paper handles?
@elund323 yes ribbon would be great as well. If you want it to stay up I would use a more sturdy ribbon :) good luck at your next craft show!
These came out beautifully 😍 I love that paper pad too! I don't think I've ever met a child who doesn't like chap stick 😂I hope you sell out of everything this weekend!

Super cute!! How much do you think you will charge at your craft fair? I am interested in making these next year as my last fair is this weekend

Yes they’re super fun to make I was trying to hold back on adding too much as I would like to make a bigger profit but of course these are on the lower end of things I am selling and I’m hoping the kids at the show or parents/grandparents would like them. I plan on charging $2.50-$3.

I think anywhere from $2-$4 is good. I charge $3
Correction I believe I sold them for $4 at one show and $3 at another it really depends on the crowd and how well or not it’s going. Maybe you can even do two for $4 just to sell them quickly. It really all depends on the show.
