I have a deep respect for Professor Shlomo Sand, a brilliant historian. As a Norwegian and a Jew who who doesn’t consider himself superior to other races and religions, I totally identify with Professors Shlomo Sand, Ilan Pappé,Avi Shlaim and Noam Chomsky all decent, brave and monumental historians who have had the courage to deconstruct history and the poisonous - colonialist Zionist doctrine, a doctrine that is harmful to Judaism and Jews.
You should really add Norman Finkelstein to your collection, he's a friend of Chomsky's and was the person who got me interested in Shlomo Sand's body of work.

I discovered Shlomo Sand only a few years ago and he gave me more answers than I had questions for.
After thinking about his theories I realised that modern Israel is the Liberia of the Middle East.
If only there could be more people thinking like Mr Sand. I have a Jewish-American (American-Jewish) friend who rejects Shlomo Sand's ideas without even really thinking about them.

Personally, I think it is absurd to accept as true that a certain people that existed two thousand years ago still exists today untouched through the millennia in exactly the same area, that they never emigrated, that they were never invaded or colonized by other states, that they never integrated -and mixed with other people groups, etc. and that another people group far away from there claims to identify with this ancient people and because of that claims the right to occupy and live in that land area and establish there a state that ceased to exist for two thousand years ago.
Shlomo Sand is a brillant person and deserves more attention. I am very impressed by his professionalism and humanity. Thank you for this valuable interview. Wish you and Shlomo all the best :-)
