I never found the pixies that great but for each their own, and yeah, Dolittle was better than bleach. Also in 1989 was released fucking Disintegration😭. Plus Altars of Madness and The Stone Roses Debut.
So many rave about OK computer, and I get it, but In rainbows is a gorgeous album, more a movement of sparse emotion and fragility. Many of its songs are soft and spacious, but boy do they hit hard. I'm thinking of All I need or House of cards, for instance. A masterpiece to my ears.

How isn’t there any post punk here? 1977 could be Television’s Marquee Moon, 1979 could be Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures, 1980 could be Joy Division’s Closer or Talking Heads’ Remain In Light (which is quite easily one of the best albums of ANY genre not just rock) 1982 could easily be The Cure’s Pornography, 1985 could be The Smiths’ The Queen Is Dead and 1989 could very easily be The Cure’s Disintegration
I think Unknown Pleasures is a way better album than Highway To Hell and should've been on the list. Unknown Pleasures had a much bigger influence on music and in my opinion is just better. Also there were already so many othe AC/DC albums on the list, one Joy Division one could have easily replaced one
Some surprises for me was 2006 with The Black Parade but a pleasant surprise as Stadium Arcadium was there as well. I’m also surprised to see Insonmiac over One Hot Minute and not have The Getaway for 2016 But damn good list

How isn’t there any post punk here? 1977 could be Television’s Marquee Moon, 1979 could be Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures, 1980 could be Joy Division’s Closer or Talking Heads’ Remain In Light (which is quite easily one of the best albums of ANY genre not just rock) 1982 could easily be The Cure’s Pornography, 1985 could be The Smiths’ The Queen Is Dead and 1989 could very easily be The Cure’s Disintegration

I think Unknown Pleasures is a way better album than Highway To Hell and should've been on the list. Unknown Pleasures had a much bigger influence on music and in my opinion is just better. Also there were already so many othe AC/DC albums on the list, one Joy Division one could have easily replaced one
I love SOAD as much as the next guy but Protect the Land / Genocidal Humanoidz is a single. This video is about the best ALBUMS
