    Those are very cool speakers from Klipsch. Would love to hear them. It does look like the surrounds are placed too high though, for best Atmos results you want separation between the bed and top layer. Also many speakers have a limited vertical dispersion angle (many less than 20 degrees). Not trying to be nit picky but with that type of room and expense placement and maybe some room treatments would go a long way.

      i get you. looks like a design choice. I agree the sides could be lower, not a deal breaker. I've heard multiple demos and the trinnov works with the speaker position to make them sound like they are lower with the "relocator" function

    the room is gorgeous. Love the look of the LCrs. However I am a bit worried about the placement of the bed-layer surrounds. they are pretty high above the ear.

      i think it was a design choice. they could be lower but the trinnov can "relocate" them with processing

    Very cool. I purchased 7 thx 8000 L for ear level, 4 5002 L and 2 jtr rs1's. It'll be a while until I hook them up though. Need a projector, screen, seating and I think I'll go separates. Then of course instalation. Got a new house a few months ago and spent too much on remodeling so pumping the breaks on spending more money to recover a bit

    Impressive room! Speakers look capable of handling a room that's even bigger. Right at the point of the rear and side surround speaker models being mentioned, I was looking at them in other browser tabs. So I'll ask, why the -S models in the rear and the -L models on the side? Would love to hear the approach.

    Great looking system. BTS looks like a winner. The only question is the high placement of the compression driver. It is quite high and way above the listeners in front 2 rows

      yes. I think these are the perfect match for this sized room the subs are the limiting factor. You have to think about pressurizing the space. Those 2 subs would be perfectly placed here.

    No Bafflewall / Absorption around the speakers, no Double Bass Array (Subs in the back) to control the lowend, also the Horns look way too high placed. Of course it looks good, but no diffusion or absorption an such a small room is so much wasted potencial. No DSP in the world can control it, not even Trinnov.

    • @tkcdac
      @tkcdac Рік тому +3

      I can see in some areas how you would be skeptical.
      Why do you need absorption around a speakers that has no gap for resonance between them, the cabinets are literally touching? I can GUARANTEE you that front wall has absorption in the studs around it. A sub in the back seems more of preference to the room, to which he states (very competently I may add) that the room didn't need it. The horns can "look" high placed, but again, not hitting the seats would be QUITE an obvious miss that anyone would point out don't you think? Not sure why you think this room isn't acoustically treated in the walls and ceiling to which he didn't seem to even bring up? Why do you assume there is none in a professional show room?
      I have been around Chris to hear him dissect a room in literally less than a minute and say where it was flawed. I will chalk this up to just your inexperience or trust in what you were not told, which is legit if you didn't know him.

    • @vtkz

      @@tkcdac i dont want to attack anyone, i just watch also other channels and see how other theatres look like. I see how much passion goes in this projects, thats by far not my criticism. Experience wise and the Concept behind something like an DBA (Double Bass Array) youve way less problems after it in the room. Specially in such small spaces its an challenge to get controlled lowend. Without thick absorption (Bafflewall) its very hard to get an even, tight bass response without Cancellations

    • @tkcdac
      @tkcdac Рік тому

      @@vtkz I would be interested myself in touring this. I suspect eventually I will get down there in person. I have a cancellation in my theater mid-point, but no one sits there, and the rumble seats fill in any missing tactile feels.

    • @ThatHomeTheaterDude

      this is a stretched fabric room the treatments are in the walls. You just cant see them.

    • @keepingupwiththejones2933
      @keepingupwiththejones2933 Рік тому

      Not sure why you classify this room as small. The room is certainly long enough to support the longer waves that low frequency create to provide an even bass response throughout the room. Yes I would have liked to see some subwoofers in the back to help with any nulls but we can't assume there were any nulls. The OP made some big assumptions about the room and its response. You know what happens when you assume.
