sounds like a great way to add to our homeschool this year, the kids want to do notebooking so we could add this plus one of the stories around the world books
We also love Louie Giglios science devotionals. This would be an excellent resource to pair with Guest Hollows Jr. Geography. I will be purchasing this book for next year to go along with that. Thanks for the review and flip through.
@@simplylearningtogether651 Our family truly loves learning through literature. Guest Hollow offers a feast of excellent resources and a fun way of learning geography. This will be our first time using Guest Hollow this coming year. I know it’s going to be a great fit for my two girls and for me as well.
@@ivetteechevarria9720 yes! I may not have a chance to make a video but we are using it. It’s part of our afternoon loop so we do a geography lesson about once a week (I say “about” because we aren’t always on schedule 😉) I keep it sooo super simple. We review the continents and oceans in the front of the book each time. I am working through the book in order. I read through the facts of a specific country. Then, we watch a video about that country on UA-cam. That’s it! It’s been very easy! I would love to do more - like deep dive into a specific animal/plant of the country…or cook food from the country. However, in this season, it hasn’t worked out that way. But I’m fine with it. What we accomplish for each country feels do-able and not overwhelming. 🥰 I hope that helps! Let me know if you have more questions.
Thank you for answering me 💖 that's awesome what you are doing. Sometimes I feel like I want to make so many things with this kind of resources but still don't have the time to make it, am glad I'm not the only one😅 I plan to use it as my social studies/geography curriculum. We are from Puerto Rico and are always struggling on finding curriculums in spanish, good thing we are bilingual. Thank you so much for sharing 🩷
This book looks amazing! 😍 Thank you for showing it to us!
You’re welcome! It really is such a cool resource!
I just got this from my library a couple days ago!
That’s so awesome that your library has it already! It’s such a cool resource!
This is awesome!! I was looking for a gentle/low key geography for my littles this year! This will be perfect!
Yay!! I really think it can be simple and fun and I’m looking forward to trying it with my kids too!

We love the devotionals, and this looks so good! It's such a good idea to pull so many things from this atlas😍
There are sooo many ways you can expand on this one. I love it!
