Imagine coming across enormous mounds and ridges on a hill in a forest in Vermont, then going home, looking it up on LIDAR, and seeing a massive grid laid out across the hill!

Great thanks to UVM Forest Manager Jess Wikle, who answered Mike's questions about the grid in the forest and filled in some of the history of the place via email, and also provided the interesting photos and a schematic you'll see in the video, Courtesy of the UVM Research Forest Archives.
CORRECTION: The gully on the hill caused by erosion is on the southwestern end of the hill, not the southeastern, as said in the narration.
