Have you done a video on CCTV Len’s selection and when to choose 2.8mm over 4mm vice versa and when.
I mainly do domestics, and tend to stick to 4mm turrets ColorVu
Any news on the 8MP colouVu flat dome?
Which colorvu 4mp for outdoor over front door way? the dome is lower profile great but is glare or reflection an issue? is the dome or turret better for outdoor use? which one give the better day/night picture quality between them?

Hi do you need them two green connections for audio
Mine doesn’t have them on a different brand for the audio it goes threw the cat cable
Many other green boxes apart from human body detection box were seen ,Timeline 19:31.
Is this due to any problem with alarm accuracy of acusense?

Yes you can fix it to the wall , just the gimble has slight movement restriction so bear that in mind

I have a query my Hikvision dome camera no longer records to ivms 4200 ? I have a DS-2CD2132F-IS.
It only works in real time no recording or capture.
I have looked for an update for the camera dont seem to be one can you help?
are you using the IVMS 4200 as a recorder software also ? or just when manual record is pressed?
Fantastic content as always. Which camera would you advise to have above a front door and in a rear porch, DarkFighter or ColorVu?
Myself it would be colorVu , providing the white light wont be an issue for you
@@DVSLTD Out of interest, are the Colorvu sensors still preferable in outdoor rural areas with little or no ambient light? (other than stars & moon).
I can't find any example footage of them being used in such a location.
@@DEADB33F in my option then yes I would say this is correct and my preference for sure, but some just don’t like the 24/7 white light function and for personal reasons don’t choose this technology so there is always the personal choice element to the camera selection also 😊

Thanks for the video. I like this serial but I think the infrared is not strong. It's only for indoor, outdoor is not clear

Quality always matters on pixels,. Which is best quality fixed lens camera which can help us to identify the face during playback?
most love the 4K models now and we have a few of these in different forms , or we do have 12MP but the price is a lot more for this 😊
@@DVSLTD Price matters but you should make a video on this scenario because cctv isn’t only the thing that we just watch that what’s going over front of cctv camera, actually we need such camera which can help us to identify the faces from more distance even to see the people off side the roads 😎. Hope you will make such videos soon 😊
Can the white light be set to come on only when activity is detected - car or person detected?
in the later firmware’s this linkage action is possible yes
Great video. Will be purchasing the 8mp version. I noticed that it has a microphone and you mentioned audio input/output do hikvision have an external speaker so you can use this at the front door assuming you can't be heard through the camera. Replacing a ring system. Thanks

There IP rated and we don’t see issues with these models in all honesty 😊

Hi m8 quick question on my phone whilst I'm home and in the vicinity of my router alls ok but when I leave the house all my cams on hik connect have no connection and go down is there any advice or a remedy you could help me with also I have mo notifications comin through at all there's not even the symbol for it on my airpad or phone
assuming you added them via IP address then? Can you delete them and use the QR code or serial number to add into the HIkconnect app ?
