I am having a wonderful time painting watercolors now that I am following Andy's approach that he teaches so well. I do want to ask Andy, so you stand in front of an easel when you paint in your studio, or is your paper laying on a table with something beneath it to give it a slight angle up from the horizontal? I have watched you stand at an easel when you are doing plain air paintings.

Very useful to see the transition from light to middle values and hear Andy's thought process. Thanks for sharing.

Super super video, and you probably already answered this question but, what paper do you use and do you wet both sides?
Thank you for watching 🙏
This was very useful for me. I love that you use a value study. So many people don't, and IMO you can tell!
Thanks for the lesson. But it is very hard to hear what you are saying.
