Thanks for another video. This one brings back memories of my dad and me fishing. I remember sitting for hours cleaning bream with him. I want to give you some advice. Do all you can with your dad while you can. My dad has been gone for 11 years and I miss him everyday.

Yes that stretch of river produces the biggest red bellies I've ever seen. I grew up on the Suwannee and we had a ton of them, but not as big as in the Aucilla.
Great video! I go hunting and fishing with my dad all the time , and wouldn’t trade the memories for all the money in the world, now I have my daughter go with us a lot , I see myself when I was young watching her with dad , full circle, keep the videos coming brother and don’t change a thing

Awesome video me and them bream were some Biggins whenever I go up North I catch some big pumpkin seed and bluegill pumpkin seed hybrids over 10 in complete slabs that looks like a lot of fun fishing with your dad thanks for posting this video nice good clean fun
I haven't eaten a bluegill whole in years. We fillet them. Used to save the heads for catfish lines but then I moved to Wisconsin where that's not a thing...
99 percent of my fishing is in the morning. I like spending my afternoons with my wife and it's nice coming home to daylight to clean fish/boat. Without a doubt, those redbellies are the best tasting pan fish to me. Take care!
Another awesome video! Your videos are in my opinion the absolute best for the outdoors. And probably my favorite fishing is for the red bellies here in South Georgia around lake park. The spot you put in the river at here in this video, me and some friends put in there a few years back and I can’t remember how to get back to that location. Would you mind giving me some directions and I can try to find it on google earth? I’d appreciate it
It's down miles and miles of dirt roads, so it's hard to explain. Look up "middle Aucilla WMA" on Google, it will take you to the brochure for that wildlife area. It's the only listed ramp on that map, minus a canoe dirt launch on the north east side of the map.
Funny you mention that, last year on this same river I caught the biggest one of my life on a top water bass plug. I still regret not mounting it, it was as big as my hand with my fingers held open and very thick. Hard to explain the size, but way bigger than the biggest we caught in this video.
No this is a redbreast sunfish, we have bluegill also. These are much sweeter and better tasting in my opinion. They are a southern fish if my memory serves me correctly.

That's the most popular way around here, hardly no meat on them so it saves just about everything.

Is your Gator Tail an Extreme series with a mod v?
Extreme series NON mod v. Has the reverse chine in the sides to keep it from sliding. I thought about a mod v, but am very happy the flat bottom.

How do you keep your gator tail straight when trolling??
Leave the motor down in the rear so the skeg catches water.
If the rear motor moves around you can bungee cord it to keep it from moving.

Oh what dad was using was a Betts bug. They are for fly fishing
