This song is so beautiful. It brings in a clear picture of what Jesus did for us. He came, He suffered rejection from His own, all had forsaken Him yes and even His Father. It wasn't because Jesus had failed in some way, but it was that Jesus had taken all of our sin upon Himself. It was as if we were innocent, and Jesus became guilty. We became justified. Just as if we had never sinned. He took our place. The Father had to look away while all the worlds sin was laid upon Him. The innocent for the guilty. When Jesus rose from the dead, He took His precious blood up to heaven and presented it in the Temple of His Father and the plan of Salvation was complete. The Father accepted His sacrifice and His blood. He atoned for us. Now salvation is available to all. All we must do is ask Him for it. He will give it freely to all who come to Him. Praise God. Thank you, Jesus, for what you have done for us.

@@shannamack4290 The gentleman singing the first verse is Johnny Minnick who sung with the original HAPPY GOODMAN FAMILY. He is also a very respected soloist and pastor. The woman is Tanya Goodman Sykes. She is the daughter of Rusty Goodman (Happy Goodman Family) who wrote some of he most popular gospel songs today (including this song). He passed away in the early 90s. The other gentleman is Tanya's husband who is also a very respected soloist in southern gospel music. The group was formed about 5 years ago and are a vital part of the Bill Gaither Homecoming video series.
