99.9% of car dealers are pure slime. I despise the entire process.
I’ve worked for dealerships for 13 years now in detail. They convinced me to go into sales after years of pressure. I lasted 6 months and thought “this isn’t the person I want to be” management will not only say horrible things to customers, but to the sales staff as well. They’re bad people
The ball ain’t in their court like it has been the past couple years and they’re mad as hell 😂
@Sensei_888 during Covid it kind of was. Exception to the rule though.
I left a negative google review today for a salesman who was incredibly disrespectful to me and he got my phone number out of the system, called me and threatened me today. Needless to say police are involved but I have NEVER experienced this with anyone in car sales ever.
That sales manager was shady, he said he couldn't hear but when you played him saying his name he was like "...it doesn't sound like him". That guy know exactly who the shit sales guy was, and he probably rips people off all the time so the manager is good with it.
Exactly.
The supply of cars has far exceeded the demand but the dealerships and manufacturers think they can somehow keep charging top dollar for cars no one can afford to make payments on at half the price.
Dude...that guy called you a "tic tok boy".....very unprofessional salesman....very dickish of him.
Hey man
As a general manager of a dealership, it disappoints me that these types of guys make it bad for all of us
I am in virginia. If you ever need anything, let me know
Of course, I would have taken the deal and I believe the majority of all dealerships would have as well
I don’t know who tells these guys to get into sales, but it’s clearly the wrong field for them lol
If you can't handle negotiations you have no business in sales
Seriously
You are getting $1000 from a buyer so they can save $750 off Sticker? Dude, YOU are the slime ball here....LMFAO
Client got 1500 off the car. Very hard to get cars. Average savings is 7-10%
Dont do the spoilers at the beginning trust me. Feels like we got the best oart then most leave.
Congrats on the quick growth you are crushing it
Noted! Trying to learn how to hook people
I remember when I bought my 5th Gen 4Runner in 2018. Sales person asked if I wanted some water. I said yes. He brought me an old styrofoam cup with a layer of dust on the rim. Then sat down and put his feet on the desk. I asked for another sale person. The sales manager came over and was even worse than the sales person.
The way you made him look so silly! 🤣 I love that you are doing this live and now these people can be exposed. This has been the state of the car market for far too long and it’s time for a change. Well done Sir! 🍾
interesting interaction. thanks for sharing.
I wouldn't consider that mouthing off.
Sales person called him Tik Tok Boy, not only called him that, but clearly said it in a derogatory way.
@@craigfin3222he is not wrong I hate to say. As a zoomer myself this tiktok video style with the highlighted captions is quite cringey.
look at this guys comments on other videos
@@jordanyolo4361 spectacular
The new Tundra engne issues sure have the diehards wanting the older (larger - non turbo) engine
Watching from Australia. I Have bought many cars in my life, I like to haggle a deal, and never met an angry salesperson. Good content.
@Sensei_888 I live in Sydney. I've had previous gen wrx's, kia cerato gt's, you call them forte in the states. And I currently drive a 2023 mazda 3. Had to settle down with the car buying, due to getting married.
@Sensei_888 oh wow, I would've gone somewhere else. Sounds like a horrible experience. But sounds like you got a good deal, if he wasn't happy.
@Sensei_888 John Newell might have been a better option, or Rockdale mazda.
@Sensei_888 I got the g20 evolve ceramic metallic, kinda wished I got the 25 evolve.
Didn’t work there? 💀
I think it will be a great idea to have a web site where people can rate dealers based on customer's experiences
Haha if you know what's going on with engine failures and quality control fails with the new generation Toyotas like the Tundra and Tacoma, you know that the salesman is basically arguing that the outgoing generation is worth more because it's more reliable, better quality, and will hold its value better than what he will be trying to sell when the 2025 model launches.
Share the dealer info please
Can some one post a link to the video for the Camry ?
I remember watching this live 😂
A dealer just included a doc stamp tax on my spec sheet, of which I thought was only charged on real property. Am I wrong?🤔🤔🤔🤷♀️
At a certain point, if you don't want to take the deal, just hang up. But very few managers would refuse a $750 discount to make the deal same day.
Take the thumbs up! Well deserved.
This is why my uncle would vandalize the dealership bathrooms.
All shady and not straightforward, like a frigging mafia
😂😂😂
drop the dealership info. scummiest salesman ive ever heard
Honestly a few of my worst dealership experiences were Toyota dealers. Some salesmen think Toyota is pure gold and you should be thankful if they let you buy it at full MSRP.
@@hochhaul few months ago i walked into a toyota dealership looking for camry LE lease. i had to dodge 3 salesmen on the way in. So they wanted 520 a month. i talked to the desk manager down to 360 pretty quickly. went with honda instead tho.
Why do all the videos just kind of get cut off with no resolution? At the end of the call there should be a summary of what hapoened and happens next. In these videos we don't even hear you hangup
"I could be tho"
Seems like a lot of these salesmen and managers who get mad at Tomi are really suspecting that he is lying to them about the competing offers.
Yet this dealership didn’t even ask to see it.
Miss the old days, l gave my offer, they would say they would lose money, I would leave, get a call, come back let’s deal.
Good apples hard to find
This sales person on the phone is not much of a sales person at all.
You just did use your social media presence to try to get a good deal. Nothing wrong with that.
Did not. He called me out for being on TikTok. I never mentioned it. And I wouldn’t of.
As you said, he gave his name and identified his dealership so why did you conceal it? Identify him.
My goal isn't to ruin the lives of 100s of employees due to one sales persons actions. I know the ramifications If I did that.
He understands the power of his platform. Cancel culture is wack.
@@Delivrdthen why did you threaten him by telling him his name would be on the internet if you weren't going to put him on the internet?...and you already forgot he told you the 4runner wasn't in stock but would be there in two weeks?...seems like an important thing to remember
@@Delivrd Great response. Well thought-out. Way to look big picture.
@@Jeremya74 Simple, to get the guy off the phone. Did you pay attention to the guy's attitude? Also to point out how dumb the alleged sales person was being.
Tomi, I was a broker in California. You better vheck your state laws with what your doing. In California, you MUST have a brokers license to get paid for what your doing.
I am not a broker, I don’t have any relationship with a dealership or get paid by the dealership. I’m a car advisor. I’m not different than your dad negotiating on your behalf.
@@Delivrd Im not trying to preach, but in California, its heavy fines if you are paid by anyone including client to act on their behalf to find them a vehicle. I know the law very well and there is no wiggle room. I just would hate to see you in a bad situation. I would contact your local Govt agency to make sure that you are OK. In Ca, you could get in big trouble with heavy fines. There is a reason we have to go through heavy licencing to obtain broker status. I did exactly what your doing In Ca. ( no longer) Just make sure your legal----
@daysoff4ever
I'm confused...
5:47 - "I never use my social media presence to negotiate a car deal"
8:34 - "If you manager got 100k views in free publicity he would change his tone"
???
Calling it now- this channel's hitting 100k subs by the end of the year as soon as clips start blowing up on TT/YT/IG like Kitboga makes.
Remind me in 1 year. Would be a dream come true!
You should give the dealerships info.
Try calling the dealership and asking for he salesperson. If he's there.... it proves the manager is a liar.
ofc it had to be a toyota salesman
Deep deep down this is what every car salesman wants to do 😂
Un. Hinged.
I’d be pissed if you’re charging me $1000 and getting only $750 off.
My service doesn’t claim to save money. It’s saves time, energy, and stress.
Most dealerships are charging 4k of mark ups on this car. In a 1k mile radius there are 4 possible options.
And I saved them 1500, I tried to get the dealership to move some as a starting point.
People pay that kind of fee all the time from places like Costco. They get you an okay deal, but not nearly as low as you could pay if you wanted to negotiate/shop around. Not everybody has the desire to deal with slimy guys like this one or to waste their Saturday and drag the kids around to save a few hundred bucks. This car is like a $55K MSRP, so that $1000 fee is less than 2% of the car
I want to see some videos on how to get the best interest rates?
Not difficult.
Call your bank or credit union and determine the rate they will give you. When you go to the dealer tell them you have that financing and you will finance through them if they beat it. They often can.
Beware of dealer reserve. DR is when that smarmy F&I person bumps your actual approved rate, often by up to 2 or 2.5 percent. So an approved rate of 5 percent is presented to the buyer as 7 or 7.5 percent. Never let an F&I manager pull this scam.
@@jerrylundegaard2592 Thanks!!
Covering up for him
He was incorrect to not at least ask but as someone who can do his own negotiations he's right there's no reason for me to pay you 1000 for the same deal I can go get on my own thus Savin the 1000.
There is more value than just a discount on a car. Some people have more money than time, so they outsource things so they can spend their time doing things that are more valuable uses of their time. Others have more time than money, so they do things like more their own lawn and negotiating their own car deals.
Exactly. I never claim my service is a money saving one. It saves money. It’s meant to save time energy and anxiety.
Also I got my client 1500 off
Why would you pay them $5000 down and have to find your own financing?

Roflmfao, no.

@@OhioVworld yea it is. This dealership doesn’t make much sense. I give you $5000 to find my own financing for your over priced vehicle.
@@madmark6069 Dumb ppl really hate money and love shiny, big cars!
Does Tomi negotiate on behalf of others or is he doing this for fun?
All his deals are for clients who pay him $1000. It's his business, it's not for fun.
Sounds like the guy put his "Foot" in his mouth if you know what I mean :) You should run for the "hills" from him
As more and more car dealers see Tomi's videos, I can definitely see fewer and fewer of them wanting to work with him.
It’s actually the opposite problem. 100s of dealerships are begging to do a deal with me. I have yet to find one to refuse. Car dealerships want to sell cars.
@@Delivrd , they are desperate and weak. Not real men.
Are you John?
This guy is a punk
You need to do some due diligence dude! People love pranking people on stream
Jus got a voodoo blue 2019 trd pro....30k....private sale...Lil higher mileage at 122k....but screw the local dealers around wanting 50k+ on a used one....ridiculous!
Tomi is never going to buy anything anyway. It's just for views
Do a bit of research…. I run a company negotiating for my clients. These are those negotiations. All deals are bought.
Tomi, go get a real job. The sales guy did not smart off to you.
This is my job. And it’s a great one
Using your social media presence to make threats is pretty low tbh. Just because you say you didn't do it doesn't mean your actions reflect that.
What a complete waste of my time. So what I can take from this video is Delivrd charges his customers $1000.00 and then negotiates $750.00 off sticker? Since he is a legend in his own mind and tries to call out a car salesman like we don't know a cars salesman will rip off their own Mother. Not sure of the message or the reason for this video?
My average savings is 6k. We saved the client 1500 on this car. This vehicle has very low availability and the average dealership is charging 4k of added markup.
Either way, my service never claims to be a “money saving service” it’s a “time, energy and anxiety” saving service.
For example. Out of the 28 dealerships in a 1500 mile radius that have this vehicle, only 6 of them are available. Yet all show available on their website.
Out of those 6 cars, only one is within 500 miles (this car which actually wasn’t even available).
If you go to San Fran, you are paying 5-10k of added markup. We ended up negotiating the deal for 1500 off msrp. On a hard to get car, and client doesn’t have to wait months, but a few days.
The message of this video is simple. Sales people don’t control the price. The sales manager does. Sometimes sales people get riled up, and don’t want to sell a car. Asking for the manager immediately made it if the deal was available we would of saved some money.
I’m very transparent about what I believe I can save people. Sometimes that’s getting a deal to MSRP, sometimes that is getting 10k off a BMW.
I’m not a “legend in my own mind”. I just am educated on the market. Sorry you didn’t like the video. I’ll make my next one a huge discount for you!
Are you trying to get these deals for people? I had great relationships with local dealerships and never ran into this BS. Honestly, I think the dealer is right, they are switching engines and making up for the power lost by turbos. That's not going to appeal to a lot of people-so MRSP on the time tested bigger engine is prolly is what going to move the card more than the look.
I honestly thought you were just an a hole to the guy. I wouldn’t be feeling proud of myself for expecting the guy to do exactly what you deem necessary. It just doesn’t feel right to me. Also telling him you were gonna blast him online is ridiculous.
I bleeped everything out. He called me during a live stream. He knew I was live. I didn’t threaten to blast him. He blasted himself.
This should have been 3 minutes video.
Salesman: I will sell this car at msrp.
Buyer: someone in CA willing to sell me car for below msrp.
Salesman: go get it
Buyer: can I mess with you little more so I can make a 14 minutes video of how upset you are making me by telling me to get better deal somewhere else
Buyer, OK I will.
I wonder if you accept challenges? I doubt the authenticity of his channel. But hey whatever continues to get viewers
I’m negotiating for clients. I don’t have as much time to do challenges but maybe!
You do know that it’s a violation of wiretap laws to Audio Record people without informing them! It’s a crime….
It depends on the state. Some states have single party consent.
The overwhelming majority of the country would disagree with you.
He knew he was being filmed. He was told.
He was told, even seemed to know that Tomi was live and many states are single party consent states.
Most states are single party consent. Only one person in the conversation needs to know.
Unsubbed and dislike for no name n shame
Sorry. Thats ok. I’m not here to have people riot. I’m teaching
The salesperson did not sound angry to me.
You accused him of being mad.
Grow up
100% angry, spend less time on UA-cam and more time interacting with human beings out in the real world.
You're just wasting his time to make videos.
Who cares, they waste customers time all the time
And I am not wasting time. I make videos where I negotiate for my clients. That is what I am doing!
@@Delivrd how many deals have you made this week? Don't lie
@@SJDJFJFSKSXNDJWJQIthat’s a great question. Making videos to post under the guise of negotiating for clients seems to be the genuine business plan.
