  • Kermit Roosevelt's 1903 Springfield rifle is featured on this episode of NRA News Curator's Corner. Theodore Roosevelt's son's firearm is part of the collection on loan to the NRA National Firearms Museum from Sagamore Hill Historic Site, NPS and part of the new exhibit "Theodore Roosevelt Trappings of an Icon". John Popp and Phil Schreier, of the NRA National Firearms Museum, examine this particular Springfield that was one of many rifles Kermit took to Africa in 1909 for a post-presidential whirlwind safari with his father.
