Just sprained my ankle today for the fifth time in less than two years, and felt like quitting skateboarding today. Thanks Paul and Mike for giving me inspiration to not give up on my passion.
I'm so happy to see Aimu with Primitive! He's been my favourite skater for a few months now. His style and trick selection is genuinely unmatched. Please keep this kid pushing with the camera on him. :)
Ive just gotten back from a mediocre solo skate session where i struggled to land anything and didnt have the fire to try anything new. Watched this and now I cant wait to go back. Looking forward to the next skate. Skateboarding's the best!!
Welcome to Japan! But what a mission! You could’ve flown from Tokyo to Osaka in less than an hour and less than $100. But you guys had the full experience! Hope you had a great trip
His kickflip foot positioning makes sense logically in terms of maximizing height if you think about it. By forcibly putting your foot on the opposite side like a heelflip you're giving yourself more time to continue raising the board up in the air before initiating the flick, just the same way moving your foot back on the board does.
and because whats important to do a kickflip is the position you get your foot to to initiate the actual flip, not where it came from, and travelling a slightly longer distance across the board doesnt really matter
Aimu must have learned how to kickflip from Jeremy Wray! In one of Jeremy’s interviews he said he always kickflips with his feet exactly like that so he could pop them higher. He was trying to do all his tricks over picnic tables, haha.
13:10 ish, crazy echoes, is that due to architecture or was it an sound edit to remove c music? Sounds like this weird tube reverb i built some years ago. Edit: it's clearly the architecture, a low amphitheatre with higher buildings facing it, I love this shit, it makes the trick sound like a lightsabre battle❤
Miles just doing "easy" tricks is soooo beautiful to watch.
One can tell after 3 Seconds that hes one of the best ever
This Guys Heelflip Stance Kickflips are crazy fs. Best Kickflips I ever seen 💯

3:30 spanish is talking about "bacalhau", in portugal we eat a lot of that fish
Kinoske!! The Erased crew is getting love!
The frontside flips remind me of Penny and Reynolds with a super pop & catch.

Satisfação em ver o Eric na equipe Primitive, me recordo dele aqui no Brasil, na pista da Saúde/ Hiena skatepark, à uns 20 anos mais ou menos...
Jeremy Wray can kickflip like that, too. It's insane.

Damn the production looks great Mike!! Good shit bro
Seeing Spanish mikes face in a vlog always seems to give a sort of context to all of his awkward questions to P.Rod.
The announcement of your team demo in Osaka should have been bigger. I did not know you came to Osaka. I live in near the skatepark..
thanks Paul🤝Arigato gozaimasu🙏
Wacson Mass Primitive please 🙌🏽✨
I just noticed prod has all these crazy Nikes sent to him and he pretty much just wears the wheat SB dunks and the white ones
