Glad you're back in the saddle and putting out vids on a regular basis again 👍 Always looking forward to your material, it's always very well researched and on point.
@@Allan_aka_RocKITEman I moved to Long Island the first week of December, then back to my grandparents the first week of January. It was fun. It's still fun.
Very much appreciated! This one was a short excerpted from my Luftwaffe at Sea series. Only one more episode to film for that one, but there's always so much more to do!
Great video I have actually touched the remains of condor and it's BMW 323 engines in Ireland a local museum no longer displayed. Claire how about a video series on the Baltic airforces Of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia Pre world war 2 Got hold of the insignia series books from all 3 airforces amazing stuff Seeing world war 1 aircraft still in service in 1940. Take care Claire Tally ho!
Those are great forces to cover! I have a book on the Estonian Air Force, but on the other two I admit ignorance when it comes to hardware, logistics, administration, &c. I don't speak or read any of those languages, either, so there's that. I did an outline months and months ago that included the fledgling air forces of those nations in 1918 and 1919 as part of a video on Freikorps air assets, but life was absolutely in the air at the time. Have to maybe revisit it!
I thoroughly enjoy your work. Do you have a different way of looking at the aircraft. And, of course, I love the new artwork or at least it’s new to me. Very very nice.
@@N71403 That's understandable! I still forget to switch from my personal account time to time. I'm curious about this "different way of looking." I suppose since I'm me, I don't see it.
I've read and seen photos, that they had a nasty habit of breaking their backs on landing. And apparently sometimes in mid-air. I wonder if that's not related to the massive fuel tanks in the fuselage, putting stress on the structure that it was never designed for?
the loss of 365, 000 tons of shipping ! ouch that must have hurt the supply chain I wonder how the Ju-90 would have fared in the anti-shipping role or I guess the Ju-89 was the military variety as I understand they could carry about the same heavy loads
devoting half of screen to presenter face doesn't make sense for this kind of video. People tune in to to look at airplanes, not to look at the presenter. Other similar channels that are more succesful don't show any face at all.
Point taken. This is a short taken from a larger video that is formatted that way, and many of my fans ask that I do more videos in this format. It takes a lot more work, to be honest, but I was responding to others. I'm glad to hear an honest opinion. Thank you!

Well, I just moved this past weekend and things will be looking up!

Such a very beautiful plane.
Definitely glad I found this channel great job ma’am
Thank you 🙏 I look forward to your next installment 😊
A Gladiator with a Condor feather in its cap!
More Gladiator aces than people realise when you look at it.
This is amazing! So glad I found your channel. I even watched the full ad so you'll get ad rev for it, I hope!

I recall Capt Eric “Winkle” Brown RN talking about downing a Condor with his Martlet. In a head on attack
Yep, he shot down 2 maybe 3 of these aircraft over the Atlantic when he was flying off of a carrier.
The Armored Carriers channel has an interview with Capt Brown.. about the condor
@@stephenrickstrew7237 A great video, indeed!
Great job

I don't know if I have a different way of looking at them, I just try to see them from every angle. It seems to work, I guess! :) Cheers!
@@TheWarbirdMistress Actually you do. I'm a 19 year pilot. I know. Thanks!!!
@@TheWarbirdMistress The Paairgunner is my hobby. Sorry. Just getting used to 2 accounts.

@@TheWarbirdMistress I was being PC as I didn't want to outright say, "I love the sexy nose art!!!" Yes, I do! Fabulous!
Cool!
Just imagine if the Luftwaffe had cooperated with the Kreigsmarine
I prefer to imagine things that are more realistic, like a young Tyrone Power riding a unicorn up the street to propose marriage.

Very well could be. Fuel weighs a lot more than passengers, after all.
(Sorry for the delayed response!)
@@TheWarbirdMistress That's OK :) I'm thinking that the Ju290 might have been a better aircraft. But it was never built in sufficient numbers.
It was a beautiful design - before they hung that awful gondola under it.
Ah. yes: the German penchant for the "Bola."

So did some of them have twin fins?
Not to my knowledge. My books are in boxes right now or I'd look it up.
I noticed a few of your pictures had that. Probably a different aircraft then.
Ju 89/90 I guess from 2:32 to about 3'59.
