Phil knocking it out of the park as usual. It's astounding what modern digital tools make possible.
Phil's model's are exceptional. Can't wait to see it in person.
Great job guys
Absolutely love this layout….seen it many a time & bought a number of kits from Phil too. Is Pete aiming to make a miniature WCML in its entirety? 🤣
That would be awesome! Great to hear you have been building Phil's kits - they go together superbly!
Those buildings are amazing. Hats off to Phil.
They really are stunning - we can't wait to see them fully finished and painted in a couple of weeks time at the Great Electric Train Show.
Absolutely brilliant as usual
I didn't go to the NEC show but from the videos I saw of the earlier version of Watford Junction, it didn't remind me of the real station. It does this time.
That is looking fantastic, can't wait to see the buildings and layout completed in its entirety
You and me both! Not long now!
Damn right, you've changed the scale of modeling... just wish i had more space to do one myself :)
I would have preferred it if it was built pre-electrification.
How do you cover the dark cut edges of the mdf find it difficult for paint to cover the laser cut edges of mdf
A primer is important before applying any top coat. We use Pro-Cote grey spray primer (available from Toolstation) or a Shellac Primer - the latter is particularly effective on MDF.
