@@sharad7340 exposing reality isn't a propoganda. Just cause there are prostitutes at night, doesn't mean men should treat every woman they see as prostitute. Assuming it's fine but once the woman have made it clear that she isn't interested then she should be left alone. Instead of further catcalling or harassing her. Like how most auto drivers were persistent asking her where she wanna go even after her saying no. Good thing she found one decent driver who told her to stand inside petrol pump cause people will assume wrong if she stands in wrong place. This shows the reality about how good men are rare while the bad ones are majority. Y'all cry about feminism, but it's the same reason why lot of women are safe and can still travel pretty late at night. Do y'all forget female nurses and doctors exist?? Who do night shift and late shifts?? Just like men there are good and bad women. But y'all bringing up feminism every time just to sht on it is stoopid. My flight once got delayed and I reached Delhi airport at midnight. My friends who were supposed to pick me up never came. One sardarji who was in the same flight as me, insisted to stay with me until my friends came and when they didn’t come, he accompanied me to my destination in a cab. Honestly I think he was an angel in disguise and I hope he is happy and thriving wherever he is right now. ❤😊

But the fact that they all thought that she was sex worker just because she was roaming at night sets a wrong example itself, how is it that men get to walk around at night and don’t get called a prostitute but women don’t get to do the same.
@THE ZOLDICS And did you not hear the ending of the video? It mentally drained as she was constantly being asked those questions! And how tf is one supposed to feel safe if people around her legit seeing her as a sex worker 🙄

I recall a particular evening when I, was with my two friends, was returning home from a late-night party. As we walked, we noticed a girl about 20 meters ahead of us, quickening her pace. Being aware of our somewhat imposing presence (unintentionally so), we knew the discomfort she might be feeling. One of my friends, in a friendly tone, addressed her, saying, 'Madam, we just want to let you know that we're not following you.' She heard this and responded, 'Oh, it's nothing like that.' in more like relived way . After a few minutes, we hailed a cab. Through sharing this incident, I wish to convey to men out there that small gestures, like reassuring a woman in a considerate manner, can make her feel more comfortable and safe, potentially altering her entire perspective on men.
That was so sweet. Sadly too many people though has very dirty creeps in their own friends circle, that some people could have been worried from and therefore picked up some pace while walking, but yeah maybe in your situation it was not like that and if so then great.
But I like to add that men already know that, hence why they are men and not just males, must know the difference between a man and a male. Soo. Tell it to males, convey to the males out there for example, men are already good and know these things. Applies to women, females, too. Same thing.
I feel angry as well as ashamed of what this society is becoming and what type of environment we are providing to our women. At the same time I am speechless at the bravery you and your team has shown to document all of this. Once I was going home at 2 pm I saw a girl sitting on bus stand but you guys won’t believe 10 boys was touching her in a wrong way. And that girl really needs a help I was scared enough because it was not easy to fight with the 10 boys but it was my responsibility to help her. I parked my car little far and carried my licence pistol and fire around 4 rounds in the sky. And called that girl to get in. After driving 2 km I stopped the car and gave her some water. She was shaking really bad but I made her feel comfortable with some stupid jokes. She told me that if was not there my life was finished. I dropped her home and suggest her not to travel late night alone it’s not safe for girls and for boys too. Be a responsible person. I know people nowadays don’t care but you should care by thinking if your family was their in that situation. Note - that girl age was only 21.

I feel there are a few approaches around this experiment : 1. The environment in Delhi is much safer as compared to what it used to be 10-15 years back...at that point of time if this experiment was undertaken..God knows what could have gone wrong..still some empty spaces to be filled but m sure that shall be done as well by the Government. 2. Secondly, this experiment of standing by the roadside at 2 am where some random guys are trying to ask her the price and stuff is not a situation out of nowhere but a situation or can say a habit formed by the pimps and prostitutes running this racket, specifically at this point of time in the night...due to which this objectifying took place with her...and if we observe in the video...if somebody tried approaching her once or twice...never tried asking the third time as they could tell the difference but the mentality has been formed. But ideally the police authorities should try to keep a check on this. 3. The reporter obviously could be seen replying to the first autorickshaw driver's questions whereas I have seen girls ignoring the start of such useless conversations which is the best approach.....travelling at this point of time and answering inappropriate questions asked by inappropriate people will obviously give them an opportunity to be more shameless or frank with their further conversations. The idea is " IGNORANCE IS BLISS"...i don't think one needs to answer where have you come from or what you will do in that bar or restaurant. Although a very good and bold effort...I would just advise not girls but anybody...use your precautions and you'll be ok. Be Safe

Yes especially if you're standing without reason in an area famous for soliciting, that's asking for trouble unnecessarily. Even as a guy if I venture into paharganj early morning asking for veggies (tomatoes) , they'll smirk and say not here. I then need to explain I'm looking for actual veggies to make a salad Similarly I'll feel very unsafe in mahipalpur or Connaught place late at night. Airport at late night is a valid reason and usually the experience should be better but I'm a guy so I can't say.
Respect to you girl❤❤ I remember even with group of 4 females, we were very scared throughout the journey. Used defence bg as our saviour that they don't underestimate us. Felt safe only after reaching home and when shared the experience with ours, was scolded for being out so late. Really it's hard to meet such sick mentality people

@THE ZOLDICS are you mad? People are working overnight because of work load and comparing Delhi with new York lol Delhi and even India is considered as a very unsafe place for woman. Do your research properly
the girl who participated in this empirical research is strong! Delhi will change for the better in the future and women will be able to step out. It will take policy changes, law and order, place making. Everything possible. But things will be better if we keep going and striving
This was pure and brave journalism. Thank you showing the true ground reality of delhi at night...stay safe..this proves ki kitna or logo ko morals teach karna baki hai..sad reality though.. but there's always good in people and not all people can justified by this.
I feel so scared walking in Delhi even in the day time. I grew up in a privileged household and my parents had the means to provide me with a car and driver at all times, so I don't have to be out by myself but sometimes I am and it is scary. On a few occasions, people have misbehaved and in most cases I've taken the help of my family and friends to get them arrested, not for myself but for the next girl who might encounter him and not be able to get him off the streets.
Advice to all my sisters out there: please don't place yourself in a scenario that would allow someone to take advantage. Believe me when I tell we boys too feel frightened walking alone at night, but our concern is largely getting robbed or murdered. If I get robbed the following day, my life will be the same overall, but if you are a girl, people can take advantage of you in a way that will drastically impact your life and scar you and your family for the rest of your life. Therefore, be careful not to do anything that could expose you to predators. Its never wrong to aspire for a safer and better environment but we should also be in touch with reality and choose our steps accordingly

I said it 10 years back to my friends and I can say it again to all who read this comment - In night especially late nights DELHI is NOT SAFE for ANYONE who travels alone specifically around secluded places, yes being a girl you have horror of sexual assault or even rape but being a boy you also you got horror of physical assaults, in roberry cases if you fight back then serious bodyharm/ half murder/ even murder, in some cases rapes as well but being a male - victims boys/men never came forward to file complaints to police and we all ignore this as well. Mostly safe places of Delhi are either students filled areas where movement goes on 24x7 (I spent some weeks in a similar place during college days and seen girls walking alone even at 3 AM) or in places where people are preety much active 24 x 7 (Heard about it)

Same thing.

I start my activa, it was around 8:20 pm now, a group of 5-6 boys come near me drinking and smoking and asking me weird questions and commenting on my figure and all, a boy was just about to touch me when some a some elderly man stopped them and literally fought with those nonsense boys, I went home safely. But that incident still gives me chills through my spines...

himmat hai ldki m....these types of experiments must be done in our society they will have a great impact. hats off to the team💯🙏
I feel there are a few approaches around this experiment :

I then need to explain I'm looking for actual veggies to make a salad

@thezoldics7648same as saying "thieves are not at fault but rich people are at fault for theft"
@thezoldics7648 instead of joining the assaulters, help society become a safe place for women and kids.
@THE ZOLDICS bruh what a dumb solution. Probably you are drunk..
You have got a health problem, of you were not alive it wouldn't have happened.
@thezoldics7648 Don't know about NYC but delhi ain't safe bro at night
@THE ZOLDICS are you mad? People are working overnight because of work load and comparing Delhi with new York lol Delhi and even India is considered as a very unsafe place for woman. Do your research properly
This kind of things and reality of the world we should show to the world really appreciating your work and wish you luck to do lot more like this
the girl who participated in this empirical research is strong! Delhi will change for the better in the future and women will be able to step out. It will take policy changes, law and order, place making. Everything possible. But things will be better if we keep going and striving
Dharm se judo hindu ladkiya woke mat bano
This was pure and brave journalism. Thank you showing the true ground reality of delhi at night...stay safe..this proves ki kitna or logo ko morals teach karna baki hai..sad reality though.. but there's always good in people and not all people can justified by this.
Good way of spreading awareness among boys and girls! Kudos to the team 🎉
Instead of asking her if she is feeling safe or not, they were asking her "kitna logi" . What a cruel world we live in.
Go Germany, you can go night any time
I feel so scared walking in Delhi even in the day time.
Toh mt rah delhi meinn. Nautanki krni hain
@@sharad7340 you can get out of cities like Delhi. Uncivilized creature
@@sharad7340Please never get married or have children
@@Chim3983 you can play women card victim card blame every male guy City is unsafe bla bla 🤣🤣
@@sharad7340Another Indian incel crying "woman card!" lmfao
Rightly said.
@@veridicalecstasy1732have u ever made a video, a post or even a tweet regarding this? Why do u only bring up men’s rights when women are being discussed. Make your own video.
See it's nearly impossible to avoid being in those "situations" if you're a woman with a career. Like sometimes your train/flight gets delayed. Your work requires you to stay back. You have some hospital emergency. There's usually no option to stick to the safe hours. It's far easier said than done.
@@santhisreea8411Came back to this video after the recent kolkata incident. You were talking about a hospital emergency and its a doctor who got raped
This would be very hard for every girl to be there ,alone at night i have faced similar situation near AIMS i still feel the goosebumps!
Noida is completely different and much safer than delhi... lot of my female friends have told me about the female police protection all over noida at night.. at every 200-300 m or every crossing there is a POLICE PCR
This is horrific, it gets scary every time someone comes to her. She was brave enough to reply to them. I would not speak a word in fear.
Guts chaiye itna bada social experiment karne ke liye. Hats off to the girl. Thank you for the message
Seriously😮
Thank you Mumbai Police for keeping us safe in Mumbai❤
This shows not lack of govt security but the mindset of Delhi people.
It kind of shows lack of govt safety measures as well, how many times did a police vehicle approach to offer help to the girl?
I'm still young- a teenager girl (Indian) and I am absolutely terrified of going out alone in India. There's just so many cases I've heard that really scare me. Calling people bhaiya creates like a sense of 'security' but I've realize that often that security isn't real T-T. I hope that one day India can become save for everyone :) Though India's still a wonderful place
If you are a teenager, you should not be out late in the first place unless you are with your family. This holds true for most countries.
@@plum_loco yea I agree. But like I've lived in other countries where I can go out at 1 am in the morning to buy stuff from the 24/7 markets and no one will bother me or anything like that. I hope India can be like that one day cause it truly is a brilliant place heh
@@Earlgrey271can't single out and blame India. You had the good fortune of having a good experince abroad. But that doesn't mean everything is good there. There is bad mentality There too, you didn't encounter it
@@positivekumar3546 Sorry my intention was not to single out and blame India- thats a mistake on my part on delivering my point heh. But yes I agree with you, of course abroad has its own negative factors.

Mostly safe places of Delhi are either students filled areas where movement goes on 24x7 (I spent some weeks in a similar place during college days and seen girls walking alone even at 3 AM) or in places where people are preety much active 24 x 7 (Heard about it)
Im a 9th grader, i thought there were only some such cases , but this is shocking that so much people approached you for you know what..
One of best content on u tube ,
U r really making a chnge in society by spreading awareness.❤
Love how the random girl walked up to her to check on her. Women, I swear...💕💕
This was so nerve racking. Terrifying. Living in Pune I have been out at all ungodly hours but never experienced something like this.
Hope this happens to you soon as possible
Pune is a very safe city. Marathi people respect women a lot
I read a comment here that raat ke 2 baje ache ghar ki ladkiya sojati hai... Bhai fir raat ko 2 baje ke ladke bure hi hai aisa manke hi chale kya?? Aur raat ko 2 baje ladke kyu nahi soye hue hai??
The point of this experiment is not putting restrictions on females but rather showing the true face of the male society and expect males to own up and just behave better.
Behan Are you blind or what? plenty of boys have mentioned that it's not safe to go out late night 🤡
Praiseworthy work...I feel this is the 1st step in solving a problem i.e. by observing the status quo.
