Amazing video and showing how capable the SPD-SX is! and I believe it's getting more important to be creative in house when it's Covid situation. great job man.
Hello Steve. Yes, Sample Pack for Roland SPD-SX users is compatible with the new SPD-SX PRO. Read this article please 🙂 www.roland.com/dk/products/spd-sx_pro/
Thank you :) Story about this video is that Roland asked me, if I can make some performance video for TR-909 DAY ( 9. September is a day, when they showed for the first time TR-909 to the world ). My answer was yes, because at that time I was releasing my first official singel Emma Prominent, where I use just the sounds of 909, so exactly what the company needed. This is the result.
@@michalskacel5785 So for the video (not audio), did Roland give you a budget for video production and you hired a professional company? Or did you use your own cameras? Or friend used their cameras?
Hello 😊 It is easy. You can get sounds from sample banks like Splice or many others. Than, connect your Spd Sx with Usb cabel to the Computer, where you had instaled the Wave Manager. In Wave Manager you can load the sounds directly in to Spd Sx😊 Before you do that, go to the Menu in your Spd Sx and set it in to the Wave Manager Mode, instead of Audio Mode 😊 Have Fun!
Hey man, great job! Question: How do you like the KT-10, is it very responsive, and feels like a real pedal? I want to do very fast double kicks with it, is that possible?
Thank you. KT-10 works well, its very practical. If it feels like a real pedal ? That depends on what type of sample you will use on it. In this video I was using 909 kick drum sample (regular sample from Ableton) and it works great.
Hello Mimi 😊 I have no experience with Alesis product in terms of connectivity. But a close friend told me, that Yamaha products Are Compatible 😊 Take care.
Hello Nikolas. Good question. Personally, I don’t like fixing the module to the holder. I like it if I just put the module on the snare stand nicely. But only if it is a short video like this one. If I have to play a 30 minute set, I take a solid holder to fix Spd in a right way👏🏼
Hey Michal :) I really love all your videos and new songs!!!! Do you have any kits for the 9 pads ( samples) that I could buy from you? I love the way you combine each sound
Hi, thank you. I can give it to you, no prob. Hit me on my email skacelmichel@gmail.com, specify what kind of samples you want, I will send it to you. My pleasure

Hi, the Roland is connected to an interface from the master outputs right? But the master outputs is stereo L and R, and you have only one jack connected to the interface. My question is: can I also connect in mono or have I use a DI to use only one preamp?
Hi, yes you right. Im going from L/mono output to interface. In this case, for shooting a video like this, Im always goes only with one cabel. If Im playing a concert, I always go with two stereo cabels.

This sounds great. The video production also looks good. Did you shoot your own video? Did you hire professionals for this?

Do you know how I can get some kind of bass sound and swirl sound and hi-hat into a spd-sx? So you can play it like a drum set?
