Molchanovki streets in Moscow with the famous house with lions and the museum of the Poet Lermontov

Bolshaya Molchanovka is a street in the center of Moscow in the Arbat district, running from Povarskaya Street to Trubnikovsky Lane. The Trubnikov settlement (Trubnikovsky Lane) was located in this area. There were Trubnikov alleys and Big Trubniki in it. In these alleys there was an extensive household of Streletsky Colonel M. A. Molchanov, and over time (since the XVIII century) they became known as Bolshaya and Malaya Molchanovka.
