I think that’s why the song hits people so hard because a lot of us are just walking around in pain and especially men we are taught to never show it but that takes a toll on you
Thank you for being you and just saying what you need to say. I am most grateful for your honesty, which is what we don't encounter too much today. A Bob Marley quote that I took to heart a long time ago was, "The problem today is no one cherishes good people, they find ways to use them.". I believe that was his quote, or close to it...but it broke my heart then and it breaks my heart now...I am a 61 yr old white woman, who has never seen color in my life, and now find myself forced and I mean "forced" to see it. All of a sudden everything I stood up for and fought against is not enough, everything I believed in is challenged now by a society so crippled with hate and animosity that "SOMETIMES I CRY":. And it just is what it is.
So glad I got to see this artist in a live venue last year. He performed a 20-song set with two encores...... an amazing voice. The crowd applauded for Morgane the loudest, BY FAR, during the band introductions. Such a duo, just beautiful! I really enjoyed your reaction and, yes, cannot go wrong following our savoir upstairs.
I absolutely LOVE your spreading Christs love through this platform! I’m not sure if you have heard “Whiskey and You” and “Fire Away” by Chris. If you haven’t, you need to do a reaction video for them both. WARNING: If you watch the video of “Fire Away” you will need some tissues. Keep up the great work my brother!
Such a soulful singer. If you like this, then you should check out Yebba live at Sofar NY. She’s stunning and will make you feel this performance! Keep on keepin on. 🖤
Love Stapletons voice, also your thoughtful comments. Keep up the great work. The message here is endemic. Thought you might enjoy another soulful voice, from Down Under this time. Echoes of Otis Redding. This is the Teskey Brothers with I Get Up. You will enjoy the voice and the message I am sure. ua-cam.com/video/h_CcmHLkxDc/v-deo.html
Check out Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill How Great Thou Art! Or Vince Gill Go Rest High On That Mountain. Everyone needs to feel there is more for them! There is more for you, I promise! Relentless!
So, I'm confused. You're title says, "first time hearing Chris Stapleton" - did you mean hearing his voice or just this song? Because in the beginning you said you knew he had a soulful voice. I was wondering how you knew if you never heard his singing before lol
Sounds like what our Country is singing right about now!!! We are CRYING 😢
This is straight-up blues presented by an absolute master.

I'm glad you got this song. Singing like this can only come from true deep pain. I think that's something we can all relate to.
