its better safe to put in neutral specialy in long drive when your foot are tired of prwssing the break. its much safe to put in neutral so that even if you acc8dentally take off your foot on the break , the vehicle wil not move

Does it apply on CVT?
Mine is a 6 speed torque converter. The car tends to move while in D mode and brake pedal pressed? Is that still fine to not shift it to N?
