I watched you in intrepedation as you kickstarted it. My 441 Victor Special was a beast. I had to stand on the kerbside to lift my leg high enough on the kickstart, being only 5ft 6in.
It had 10.5 compression and on one occasion my foot slipped off at the bottom of the stroke and the kickstarter wedged my calf against the frame. Soooo painfull. You brought back that memory.

I had a '70 B44SS which also bit my leg rather badly. Easy to tell ex-owners,they're the ones with a limp!😊

Much as I loved my 72 B50SS, I'm so glad I sold it. It was a b*gger to hot start. Mine still had the lozenge silencer and sounded so much better than that mega.

It's a shame it doesn't have the old speedway silencer it used to have and the clutch is a diaphram belt drive clucth which I think was made by Mike Leadbitter. It's a bit of a tuned B50 engine too.

Never used to, the newer owner took off the old speedway silencer and put the exhaust it has now on it.

This is my dads old bike and it used to have an old speedway silencer on it.
