Never heard of this band.
Simply brilliant.
The part : 39:16 to 39:45... This is amazing, is real progressive rock experimental! Love 😍!
Saw them live at Veruno 2+1 Prog Festival ... Great band but more great and very smart & good people ... It has been a real pleasure to meet and to see them playing live ... BUY Their albums! They surely deserve a more great success!
"Don't sell your soul for someone else's goal" strong life lesson lyric there
in 60s 70s 80s and even the 90s we just put our sights in pink floyd, yes, génesis, rush, marillion, but folks we are the 2000s now we have a new technology and the oportunity to learn more, end more, and many more don't you think? i did'nt know about this great prog rock band thanx
My favourite album of all time, so glad i found this band
The best UK prog band by a long chalk. End of. Plus they are the most modest people you could ever meet. Bless them.
OI, lets not get ahead of ourselves. One thing the UK has an spades is prog bands. Frost*, Porcupine Tree and IQ. Just to name but a few.
Pendragon, King Crimson, Yes, Gandalf's Fist, Big Big Train, The Soft Machine, The Tangent, and on it goes. Any statements that so and so is the greatest band or artist ever are not facts but opinion. There is no "End of" the story. Subjective opinions are not facts.
Sean Urquhart Pallas, Jadis, Citizen Cain, Landmarq, Mostly Autumn, Magenta, Pineapple Thief, Kino, Arena, Grand Tour, Compass, Kepler Ten...
Line-up / Musicians
- Joe Cairney / lead & backing vocals
- Mark Spalding / guitars, bass, backing vocals
- Jim Johnston / keyboards, backing vocals
- Bruce Levick / drums
- John Fitzgerald / backing vocals, bass (10)
I said theres a lot of awesome bands there nobody knows about
Thanks for uploading this video. It got me and a friend completely hooked. Wonderful piece of art.
As someone said before, just brilliant!
actually, i felt somethings unique while listening to this album. i'm not the best in music knowledge, but this was one of the best albuns of my life. Thanks for uploading it.
Beauty of a caliber rarely seen from such an unheralded band. Thanks for sharing this!
I hear Glass Hammer influence. Great music !!
These guys are so good! I found them a little late but i can hear influences across Dream Theater, Rush, Haken and even a little Weird AL!
May be there a hint of Marillion and Arena ?
I really can't think of a reason to dislike this album...
One great epic after another and what a lucky find. Never heard of 'em until this morning -- waayyy at the bottom of that suggestion list while I was listening to Disperse or Blue Mammoth, and I gave them a shot. This album's a keeper and The Answer will just blow you away.
Increíble...no se porque no tiene más comentarios
Thank you for the upload!!!...
Cant wait to see Joe and the boys at Danfest in November.Brilliant album. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for the upload
Fanfare for this band!
Harika albüm , harika grup...
I really like this album and have bookmarked it. This is because I like Styx, Yes and ELP - all of which this band reminds me of. The guitarist is the best at weaving melodic riffs in this musical canvas.
Scott GuitarMan so?
algo bueno y nuevo, con raices de los 70.s. excelente
Very catchy songs. Love it.
What a fantastic album did this band do anything els
Yes, there are many great bands out here that no one knows about.
A great album. Reminds me of Early Marillion and Trick of the Tail era Genesis
There is a healthy dose of Procul Harum and Gentle Giant in there as well, but while I wouldn't play GG for my DW I would (and will) play this!
Great Album! Great Band!
13,25 starts the masterpeice, oh my god!!
Just discovered... this is GOOD STUFF!!!
Love this!!!.
Maravillosoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Wonderfull song!
Beautiful
Es un buen disco gracias el guitarra es genial
SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reminds me of Camel, a bit of early Marillion. I like it
More Marillion influence I think.
yeah, much more Marillion...... this is not a classic prog, this sounds like a modern Neo-Prog
Genesis+Marillion
Yeah, old, good Marillion
Genial!
Wow 60000 view, very very good, if i think when it was released the album these were just 10000 view!
Not to sound like a smart ass but these gentlemen are going for an early Marillion sound. And doing it well I might add. The singer even sounds kind of like Fish.
+Kymystery I'd say he sound more like Nick Barret from Pendragon than Fish.
I trust you:). I could add Sylvan, Red Sand and Shadow Gallery into your list. THis Comedy of Errors surely sounds extremely promising as well!
first time hearing and it sounds good
amazing band !!!!!!!!
Good album, best tracks are 1, 4, 5, and last one. Listen to Mindgames, Pendragon, Clepsydra, and Comedy of Errors and u will don't know who is who. They are equal, trust me.
Yes! There are!!!.......
I used to be subscribed to this channel; now, You Tube has kicked me off all my favorite channels including this one. I apologize for complaining about what seems to be a You Tube malfunction. Thank you for the upload Every time I try to subscribe I receive error messages: countless error messages...
Super music
Sehr schönes Album
Harald Möller Ja es est.
Really good album, I ive the "Cinderella Search live"-feel of the ending of "Fanfare...". I agree with some of the comments that many prog bands could do with a better singer, but this guy is not as bad as so many others.. Nicely executed on all levels (production could have had a bit more depth).
Welcome back to the circus!!!!!!!!
@@7stones590 Indeed!
Didnt know this band existed, nice to see a few Scottish Neo Prog bands out there. Most well known being Pallas.
Going For A Song reminds me of STYX.
Goede band en goede muziek
Awesome band seen them live with Pallas check out both bands live if u can and buy the cds.
You Tube won’t let me subscribe to this channel; I apologize for complaining about what seems to be a You Tube malfunction. Thank you for the upload
Excelente banda del neoprogresivo
His voice reminds me a bit of Trevor Horn on Yes’s Drama; I am not sure that that is the familiarity... I will try to recall exactly who I am hearing; it’s definitely not Trevor Horn; it’s someone else... It will come to me when I least expect it.
Неплохо, неплохо
+Алексей Филиппов НЕПЛОХО - ЧУВСТВУЕТСЯ ВЛИЯНИЕ GENESIS..................
so far its worth a listen i actually like the vocals ive heard better obviously but it is pleasant
His voice is unique. That's why I like it
at good time !!!!!!!!
Does someone knows where i can get the lyrics of the hole album? In any case the lyrics of "Something she said"? Thanks in advance
No, it’s someone else, it will eventually come to me...
un most!!! À quand le prochain COE???
There's a number of bands in this genre that would benefit from a change of singer
+Wolf Lair Agree. The current Pallas vocalist is a disaster.
Huh. I really like his work with Pallas myself. Never seen them live, so I can't say how he performs the old songs, though.
48:00 A Bit of Gentle Giant Experience I think
You mean Way of life but yes!
The vocalist’s voice is so familiar, I am going to drive myself crazy trying to figure out whose voice I am reminded of.
He sounds like a mix of the lead singers from Pendragon and Galahad.
Jon Anderson?
*
Sounded initially like the start of a Weird Al Yankovic album.
the singer does sound like Weird Al at times!
There is Rush more than Yes
6:49 - 9:05
The vocalist in Pendragon???
It does sound like him.
but music is even nice
it's still better than listening to mtv but ur right the vocals are mediocre nothing like the band's from the 70's Gary Brooker, Peter Gabriel Greg Lake, Jon Anderson
This is not probably english band .Singer has wrong english accent
Scottish
Ps belly of an architect is tone deaf. Open your ears, mate!
Neo-progressive band.
