I have have a elite. Love it. Just cleaned it up it was gross. Your videos helped a lot. I also have a Tatula TWS I caught a damn near 10 lbs bass on. The next fish after the anti reverse blew up. I took it apart and all the rollers fell out, it was in a million pieces. I got a new Anti reverse put it in it works but doesn't, it's not free spinning in reverse like it did before but it will click back half a turn and stop, then another half turn and stop. The side plate is plastic on the TWS could I have stripped it out?
@@skeeterboy77 Ok 72 I mean I strictly fish jigs I don’t have a boat So distance for me is important. But if I cast beyond 60 Yards even with braid I would loose hook setting power I like shallow spools cause they eliminate Bird nests 90% or more on a long cast.
Huh? What rod are you using? I honestly haven’t fished the elite long as this was a customers, but being it’s an aluminum frame and sideplate it should transmit pretty well..
Brah... it literally pained me watching you spin that reel around without the spool in to support the pinion. Jezzzz, over and over! It was like nails on a chalkboard 😔 😟 🙁 😥
Just picked up one of these. Such a smooth reel and casts a country mile. Not sure if I like it as much as my sv 103's but I have no regrets about purchasing one. Awesome reel as usual by daiwa.
Thanks for the video Trey. I have a bunch of different Tatulas. I bought the Elite Pitch/Flip last year. Great reel overall but personally not a fan of the oversized handle or knobs.

Awesome video Trey really enjoy watching you do your thing!!!
Shout out from 🇨🇦
Thanks man
After some tuning and ceramic bearings, my tatula elite outcasts my 2020 Metanium
yea its a casting machine with a fast spool..
Can u use the P/F version as a long distance casting , I like the shallow spool
You answered your own question.. its a shallow spool so no it won’t be casting long distance unless you use lighter line..
@@skeeterboy77
If I put 30 lb
Daiwa J Grand
I could fit 75 yds. And empty out the spool ?
@@stephen2634 it will be less then 75yards since you NEED to put a mono backing on the reel first..

How much do you charge for that lubing
You were doing ?
The Elites are a good bang for the buck reel. Both the Standard and P/F versions are nice. The big P/F handle is great too.
Agree..
I purchased the elite p/f this year and enjoy using it for flipping/punch . Awesome reel from daiwa
do you get a lot os sensitivity on the elite reels, those micro gears from Shimano are junk, you loose about 3/4 sensitivity when using a chatterbait.
Huh? What rod are you using?

@@skeeterboy77 i use a custom rod, i'm talking about the shimano reel with micro gears. the elite should be real good for the chatterbait.

I just open mine up and I’m missing that orange drag stack
