I really liked to design Cars when I was younger. I sketched all day. Somehow I got into Software development and that's my life now which I enjoy even more than sketching. I really enjoy you videos as I always wanted to become a designer

Jag sitter mycket och tänker upp nya uppfinningar, såsom nyligen en motor som fungerar som en turbin istället för kolvar. Är intresserad av fordon bl.a. men som sagt, vet inte vilken väg jag ska ta. Just nu sitter jag varje dag jag inte är i skolan och gör 3D modeller och spelar. Jag har funderat på att göra något med 3D men känner inte att jag har tillräckligt med kompetens i det. Tack så mycket för att du delar med dig din historia och hoppas du är lycklig med det du gör länge till.

I really liked it there but I also noticed all the creative limitation u have when designing . I decided that that wasn’t my way anymore and am now applying to university to study illustration... hopefully becoming a concept artist or illustrator in the future
Hi there. I’m currently a junior in high school and I’m looking to go into a career in automotive design. I won a scholarship to a college for an automotive design summer camp along with 15 others recently and that has only fueled my want to pursue this field. Even though you did schooling elsewhere, are there any schools in the US That you could recommend? I’m thinking I will go for industrial design but my passion is cars, not in designing everyday items like the medical stuff you did or toasters haha. There are two major auto design schools in the US. The College of Creative Studies in Detroit Michigan and Art Center in Pasadena California. Both are excellent. A few other colleges and universities have industrial design departments also. Good luck.
I'm studying digital design and one teacher told the class the best we can do is a portfolio on instagram, so start sketching right now and upload all you can there
great sketch, lots of Ferrari influence there on the front facia there. Not convinced it really goes with the rear end of the car you sketched before though but its really cool seeing the design emerge from the blur you started off with. And thank you for the inspirational story!
Have you ever thought about designing bodykits? I don't know what sort of opportunities there are with that, but could align very well with what you enjoy doing (and your designs almost always look better than the factory iterations!).

Personally for me, i’m in those confusing year of my life of figuring out what i really want to do. Get a good paying job or focus on passion? I love drawing and although i’m no longer as active as before, I always find myself drawing whenever I need to ease my mind off. Questions! How do you discipline yourself to keep producing arts? I have a similar story to yours actually. I got sick of going from dead end job to dead end job. Started 3d modelling in my spare time, every time I fired up blender I'd just be lost in it, entire days would go by and I wouldn't even notice. It was like I was a kid again and playing the newest need for speed game, but all the time. Decided to take my career into my own hands and go back to school for game design at age 26, man I was killing it in the 3d modelling classes. Unfortunately I was in a car crash 4 months into the program and had to withdraw, now back to a dead end job. Hoping things dont end there.

Your early sketches of your dream car remind me of the Mazda RX-Vision concept car. I would love to see you alter that car. Also, a challenge for you, add in some design influences from previous Mazda RX cars. The RX-Vision doesn't have many design cues from previous RX cars, I'd like to see what you can do.

This went from a Aston to a Ferrari, to an Audi, to a Tesla, to a Volvo. That's a lot of influence. I like it.
