Appreciate this video. My grandfather ran this too. He started running when he was 60 to combat asthma. Prior to his passing in 2001, he had enough miles under his belt to go around the earths surface 1 1/2 times. Keep it up bro.
@@ScottRunsnStuff I believe it's 25,000 around the earth, so nearly 38,000 miles? He kept track of every mile he ran, whether it was a 2 mile jog, the Portland marathon or running from his home town of College Place, Washington to Loma Linda, California. That was 1100 miles lol
Dude! What an epic run! I'd love to do this myself one day. Seems like you ran it well and temperatures were perfect. Well done to you and the whole crew. Loved the video!
Thank you so much!! You’d definitely have a good time out here! Yes, we went October 6th and temps overnight on the S rim were in the mid/low 40’s and it warmed to mid/upper 90’s in the canyon. It’s one of the last weekends you can do R3 while all the water stations are still on.
Great work Scott, first time watching as detailed of a video of Rim to Rim to Rim trip. Really gave you a good idea of what you could expect if you were planning for a future trip. Great work!
Thank you so much!! What a treat this was to experience and then to relive the journey through the editing and compiling of this film! Thanks for watching as always! Looking forward to your newest release later today!
Outstanding job fellas!! I run there a couple times a year, and quite a few of those have been with my daughter, starting on her 16th birthday, in 2015.

Thank you!! That's an insane story about your grandfather! How many miles was that in total?

It gets real when you hit that bridge on the way back. You have the fatigue set in and a big climb in front of you. Great job getting it done!
@@Smashycrashy thanks so much!! BA is a relentless climb. Good thing there’s water and other ‘checkpoints’ along the way. Thanks for watching!
